Please for the love of god add a blank shoulderpad like ME2's coalesced.ini's did (might have to replace the model with something unnoticeable or natural looking, like a radio headset)
I fucking hate shoulderpads in sci-fi, they don't make any god damn sense
will do, i'll add that as well as options to change the outfit
[sp]They did know. The only problem was, every cycle starts off with the reapers taking over the citadel, so hooking the crucible up is kind of problematic. Probably one of the reasons why the Protheans were building a citadel backdoor for the next cycle.[/sp]
[sp]Ohh, that's why the protheans DID know what the catalyst was, I do wonder why the blueprints wouldn't say it, and how the protheans found out?[/sp]

Look at body armor today - no shoulderpads. The shoulder is unlikely to be hit in a firefight, and even if it is hit it doesn't contain any vital organs.
HL2's art book has a pretty good section on armor design. Most sci-fi armor has more in common with medieval plate mail than modern and future body armor. That's why I liked ME1's armors more - they looked more like space suits and less like metal-plated SPEHS MUHREEN getups.
i don't get this "Marauder Shields" joke, what does it mean

ME1 definitely looked more like actual spaes armor than ME3, but let me tell you, I loved the armor designs in ME2 and 3. More so than in ME1.

The marauder that shoots at you before entering the final citadel beam thing.
He is Marauder Shields, and he tried to save you from the horrible ending.

Oh, ME2/3's armor definitely has it's perks. If you remove the shoulderpads and choose the right arms, you get a nice balance.
Though I still wish ME2/3 had ME1's N7 helmet. The new helmets don't look good, what with the visor going up the sides for no reason.
It kinda pisses me off that the only difference for ME3 concerning one of the most important decisions in Mass Effect 2 (destroy/keep collector base) was [sp]a small amount of fucking war assets. It's like they just used war assets as a cop-out to do any real work to show the outcome of your previous choices.[/sp]

I don't mind it. There's no way in hell they could've included every single decision detail from the first two games as full-fledged content, and the asset descriptions are a nice nod to some of the more minor details.
[sp]Though they def. used it as a crutch when representing the geth/Rachni/etc.[/sp]
ok i'll put the hoodie/shoulder pad mod together now
Can someone tell me why Miranda [sp]doesn't just tell Shepard where TIM's base is? At the very beginning of ME2 she is standing in his control room... Maybe it's because that star is so big it'd be impossible to find unless he's expecting you/you plant a tracker on kai leng. [/sp] Whatever it is, I wish they would have explained that in the game. But I'm just being nitpicky, It's not that big of a deal.

what it does
-causes N7 shoulders/arms/legs to have no mesh
-makes the N7 torso the hoodie
-increases highlight range from 800 to 10000
i'll try make it so the N7 armor can still be selected though
[sp]One ending has you sacrifice your body to control the reapers, one has you destroy all synthetic life, and one has you merge synthetic and organic life into a new form. So they aren't really the same.[/sp]
And even if I found that one specific part to be unbearably shitty (which I don't), it would just be a small part of the ending.
You did know that without enough active war assets Shepard dies in all the endings and even though you had enough war assets he still gets killed in two endings... So how are they so different, enlighten me.

I guess I was just way too focused on believing that there would be some big sinister reveal about the Illusive Man "studying" the collector base, instead [sp]we just got the human reaper showing up at the base, which was cool to see, and the Crucible reaper brain assets[/sp]

Shepard never intended to find the Illusive Man until [sp]Kai Leng stole the VI[/sp]

My latest theory involves [sp]harbinger shooting Shepard so hard he breaks the game from then onwards.[/sp]
I mean, the whole game up until that point was really good as far as I was concerned. It rounded off a few loose ends nicely, had plenty of dramatic moments and at some points I almost shed mainly tears [sp]Legion sacrificing himself, I almost lost it.[/sp] Taking this into account, it's only the last %0.5 that's bad, and even if we round it up and assume it drags down the previous few moments of the game with it I still end up with a game that was more good than bad. I'm not about to let a mistake in the final few moments of the game ruin the series as a whole.
Also I heard rumours that the Multiplayer DLC characters might be free. Or at least obtainable via in game credits and bioware points.

In the books they mentioned that the Illusive Man [sp]keeps moving the base after certain time intervals[/sp]. Not sure how that worked since it's been a while.

Of course they won't change the ending. That doesn't mean they won't make some sort of Arrival like DLC for ME3.
Also, to anyone who has their squadmates quit out mid game in MP.
It's because of bullshit disconnection issues, they're probably as pissed off as you are.

I think bioware is just preventing us from killing 1million brutes.
A question that might have been asked.
[sp]What happens if Thane died in ME2 and you get to that part with Kai Leng where Thane is supposed to attack him?[/sp]
I'm pretty sure they're still taking the PR damage control route and will at some later point release a (paid) DLC that adds to the end. Not change because that would be admitting mistake, it just puts a few extra bits on it somewhere in the hope that people stop complaining.
They've gotta release some DLC, people start complaining about as soon as it's released, it'll take about 4 months dev time and another 2 months sitting on their servers until predetermined market optimised times and then released. Probably won't even be first on the list of DLC.
