I'm particularly fond of "Stand Strong, Stand Together." I'm not sure why, but it pumps me up.
Probably because [sp]it plays during a speech from Admiral fucking Hackett.[/sp] It helps when you can relate the music to something. It's a damn shame I can't relate the credits music to anything good.
Must have been before Shepard became his soul mate.
Doesn't that give you like, 1. 1 WHOLE war asset?
Doesn't that give you like, 1. 1 WHOLE war asset?
5, actually.
5, actually.
That's bullshit.
I've got a soft spot for the Disciple shotgun, give it an extended capacity and accuracy and it kicks ass, while looking pretty sweet.
Yes except I don't HAVE a turian soldier I have a Sentinel. And my phaeston is level 1. that's why. I know it's good. just not yet. Spectre crate; it's not what I wanted but oh well. I can live with getting a weapon but GOD DAMNIT GAME YOU GAVE ME A CLASS AND NOT A WEAPON AGAIN
All I've got from Spectre crates is classes. I have almost evey class fully cutomisable but I have fuck all weapons. Seriously, I have the starting 5, the shitty Raptor and a tempest. I need some new guns.
I'm scared now. I just got an email from the long dead Kaidan saying he'll be out of the hospital soon. I'm frightened of what I might see in the hospital room since Ashley is in there.
So how was it?
Fell apart after awhile. Lots of little things caught my attention as I went through, especially at the end. so many ideas that were stunted that it's clear the People behind it wanted to take further, London Especially. You get the sense that it was supposed to be a FAR larger event then it actually wound up being. it had the makings of being a grandiose crowning set peace, Coats I think was the biggest tip off that massive amounts of shit was cut and new ideas were flushed, shelved, or lumbered there way into the game stripped down and incomplete, like Coats himself for example. He's the guy from the original Trailer if you remember, sniping at things from Big Ben. He's waved around a lot in an extremely short amount of time but doesn't really do...anything... aside from be a source of more "the reapers are kicking our ass" exposition and in Mass Effect, Characters are Everything. at some point he was probably a party member but was probably cut for some reason or another as were large sections of the London Battlefield most likely in the interest of time. so instead it's a meat grinder where the game sends shit tons of tough as nails enemies at you in confined spaces and every inch is a slugging match, Textbook padding, to make a relatively short stroll design and content wise into a marathon for the player. The mood of the place really never feels like it was taken into account in any major way, sure you got a few Datapads from dead people when not bashing the reapers in the face and there was that conversation at the base between the doctor and that woman over the radio that was pretty well done, but these examples are too few. I would have loved for the place to have an atmosphere like this, while you got to traverse the rubble peacefully for a bit and take the devastation in. let's not talk about the ending, We all know it make no fucking sense and that's all there is to say on the matter. There were other things that showed the games wearing at the seems. the game as a whole lacks polish and seems rushed out the door. The Character Models are showing their age, some of them are ok, Broshep and Hackett look good, but others like Miranda's for example look like they've been directly lifted from ME2 completely untouched, and even some of the new ones look horrendous, The reporter being the biggest offender and Trayner looks like she came from ME2 era Models. The animations are rough everywhere filled with erratic jerky movements and really clunky transitions, a lot of them are canned animations from ME2 maybe even ME. the camera during cut-scenes also comes off as half assed. Lots of times actors will walk off camera while talking and settle in and the edge of the frame and the camera doesn't react to this at all so were staring at a wall while we see the Turian ambassador arm wave up and down and during the actiony scenes the camera also has the habit of zooming in on random parts of the scene and shake a lot for no good reason. I Don't know where our boys from Lit Fuse have gone, but they certainly aren't here anymore and it fucking shows. You always fight the Reaper Destroyers, this set-piece is reused at least 4 times throughout the game, probably because this was the only confrontation with an actual Reaper that you can "win" and more boss set pieces were likely in the pipe but didn't make it for some reason or another, variety with these is attempted but the feeling that you're fighting the reaper's towel boys doesn't really dissipate. Kai Lang is quite possibly most ineffectual villain ever, Funny because He was the basis for Cerberus's entire retarded redesign, anime swords and ninjas and all, his development literally stopped when the concept artist doodled him. I'mma stop now, this is quite the essay in response to four words. suffice to say ME3 just felt recycled and strived to be only a game, not an Epic.
I am so fucking sick of this multiplayer. I've been stuck at 2,200 credits for the past 2 days because I keep losing connection with 1 or 2 waves to go. Who the fuck had the brilliant idea to make credits and XP only count at the end of every mission? It was a problem for me in the demo but it was never this bad. I'm honestly really happy to see us fail the match just so I can get even the smallest bit of XP and credits to use. It's better than nothing.
You've GOTTA be shitting me...
I changed that so the war assets it gives you is 10,000 CONRAD MOTHERFUCKING VERNER SAVED THE GALAXY.
I'mma stop now, this is quite the essay in response to four words. suffice to say ME3 just felt recycled and strived to be only a game, not an Epic.
I mostly agree with your points regarding the ending, but I disagree that the game strived to be an epic, because it came so damn close. Seeing Palaven burn as you walk on its moon while Reaper destroyers walk around, resolving an age-old conflict between the turians/krogans and quarians/geth, seeing friends sacrifice themselves for the betterment of the galaxy at large, all culminating in one of the best "Final Assault" setups in recent memory. Honestly, if the final Earth segment had received some more time and they fixed the stupid ending, I would have placed Mass Effect 3 on par with Return of the King. Also, how the hell did we make it to 500 pages?
Seriously?
The first one is all but guaranteed to be hacked....but the others? Some people have way too much free time.
anger and tears, mostly
And knowing Gavorn's tricks. I mean it's not the game's fault that you can't stay in a match that's less than 20 minutes long?
Kai Leng is up there with Super Mario Sunshine in final boss lameness. The only real threat are the troops that drop in, all he does is run around in the room ruining the Illusive Man's expensive floor screens.

Is there a save editor for Me3 yet? I'd like to edit Wreav out of my game and put Wrex back in. :v: Something messed up when I was tweaking my ME2 save and for some reason it never acknowledged that I set Wrex as recruited in ME1.
Actually a lot of people are having a "connection problem" with one or two waves left to go, some people even lose connection on the final wave with only seconds left to go.
Pc/Xbawks or both? It has never happened to me but has happened very rarely to people in my team, I figured they just left.
"you son of a bitch Leng I was gonna enjoy using this office"
I kinda hoped you could [sp]take over Cerberus in the same vein as when Liara took over as the Shadow Broker.[/sp] A MAN CAN DREAM
If anyone could help me out with gathering in-depth romance data for the trilogy: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dFRXN2FqVXY1blVEYkcwNWZHVVhVX0E6MQ#gid=0 It would be much appreciated! :v: (I can post results if I get enough responses, so far I have 13) So far nobody's stayed faithful to Ashley and a few have taken an interest to Blasto as a romance..?
Damn shame that the song that played during [sp]Mordin's sacrifice[/sp] wasn't included in the soundtrack. Here it is! Probably my favourite track from the game.
God DAMN, adding Vigil's music at the end was the best thing they could possibly have done. I agree, this is probably one of the best pieces in the whole game. [sp]It certainly plays during the best and saddest moment[/sp]. And here I was worried Clint Mansell (spelling?) wouldn't do as well with the music as his predecessors.
That one was composed by Sam Hulick, if I'm not mistaken, but yeah, it's an incredible and emotional piece, not including it in the soundtrack is an absolute crime.

If your incentive for not leaving is hurting those that play the game fairly then you're doing something horribly wrong. Just a few minutes ago, I was just 15 seconds away from getting ~50,000 credits and a shit load of XP and I lag out while having a perfect connection for the whole game.
Found this a few hours, and by far is one the cutest pieces of fan art I've ever seen.
