Anything else awesome in the files? Unseen weapon models and textures?
The scene with the kid is designed to make new players realize how evil the reapers are.

So then. I'm assuming this means that BioWare has fallen victim to the 'content on the disk, give us more money' syndrome.
The scene with the kid feels hamfisted too
Well the scene was enough to get a friend of mine to cry, but still I feel that they should have done the scene a bit better, I really liked the scene where the kid was in the vent though.

I have some level names including [sp]Purgatory and Hospital[/sp]
really liking what i saw from the demo, shame it crashed after about 10 minutes. Like how they kept it feeling like ME2 because that was an incredible game

Yeah we needed help seeing the race that has been harvesting all life in the galaxy for ages as evil.

It's an emotional scene, text about how evil something is won't quite convey it as well as killing a character.

Did they say who the DLC character was?
Vanguard charge then Nova is SO satisfying.
Oh hey I got it working.
How?
Did they say who the DLC character was?
[sp]No files in the demo indicate any sqaud member we have not seen already[/sp]
It's an emotional scene, text about how evil something is won't quite convey it as well as killing a character.
The fact that they were harvesting humans for use in creating a machine and planning on killing every living thing in the galaxy, already having destroyed an entire system on their way into our galaxy killing thousands, didn't do the trick for you?
The child is a tool, you're right about that. But it's a cheap device that has been beaten to death and serves more reliably as a 'squirm inducing heartwarming crap' tool than it does a tool for conveying a sense of loss and morality.
The god damned child can't be real, no adult except Shepard ever interacts with it. Every normal person would drag it into an escape shuttle instead of letting it stand around in open place and not even helping it getting inside.
Does anyone know how the assign powers to hotkeys in the coop?
It doesn't work like it did in Me2 for as far as I can tell.
Well, shit. I wasn't sure if it would work, so I loaded Mass Effect 3 like how I load Battlefield 3 for the Steam Overlay - by running Origin through Steam.
Now my Mass Effect 3 Demo screenshots are all labeled Battlefield 3. Damn.
Now I know. The screenshots look sweet, though. And the game runs excellent. How could I tolerate the Xbox version of the Mass Effect games before?

I like to think Sheperd is going slightly crazy from all the indoctrinating devices he's run into. Like, not enough to exert any kind of control over him obviously, but they've wriggled their fingers far enough into his brain to make him see some less macabre stuff.
I mean, up until then he's only really been able to imagine all the stuff they'd do. And then they just sorta nudge him towards the conclusion that they're ice-cold motherfuckers with something like that.
I hope i'm not the only one here.
But, is it me? Or does the demo look like shit?
During the opening cutscene, most of the animations looked stiff and just... off... and while I know the facial animations in the past Mass Effect 2 games haven't been all that great, they some how managed to make them even worse in ME3. They're almost completely non-existant now.
I had to keep myself from laughing/crying (in disappointment) after seeing Shepard scream MOVE! while standing perfectly still with a nonchalant look on his face just as the reaper crashed into the courtroom.
Maybe it has something to do with how things are rendered in ME3?
It definitely felt stiff in the Earth part, I agree.
Am I the only one who did not give a shit about [sp]the kid when he got killed?[/sp]

(Not to mention the blurry, pixelated suit Shepard was wearing)
Maybe the demo uses a different branch than the final game, remember how BF3 beta was so goddamn buggy?

To anyone using a custom Shep - does your character still get the battle scars during the opening level? Or is that limited to the default Shepards?
Having not beaten Mass Effect 1, and only played the demo of ME2, this demo was great shit. I can't stress that enough. I really need to go finish up Mass Effect 1 now, but the combat in ME1 is just so urgh.
Every single person i've played with in this god forsaken 'horde mode' multiplayer that is a Quarian, sucks ass.
Amazing.
Is it just me or are the facial animations WAY better than ME1 and ME2? Especially on Shepard. Shep actually emotes now...

If quarian soldiers were allowed I'd play one, but this class system seems pretty terrible from what I've seen

Haven't seen a single one, Only humans
It has been fun though, Even though my group always seems to die on round 10 if we are less then 4 people.
I take that as a good thing though. I like difficult
