Carnifex is EXTREMELY effective at taking kills from Widow infiltrator that believe they're inclined to take your kill of a stasis'd phantom

Which leads me to my next question: Do you think the people that were in charge of balancing weapons / SMGs even play the game with SMGs?

They're weak, inaccurate, have massive recoil, weigh more than most assault rifles and are as good at level 10 as most other guns are without upgrades or mods.
In other words, the same things they did to the SMGs in ME2.
The only time they don't suck is in the Turian Soldier's hands. Using a Locust with Marksman feels incredible.
