This demo is good. The textures still iffy, but the facial expressions are great.
I hate the hitmarker.
The game is great. Especially the soundtrack. That is awesome.
The ME1 infused gameplay is a nice touch. I really see hope in ME3.
Infact, I'm preordering the digital deluxe edition. Really hope that comes with a soundtrack.

Just finished the demo for the first time (no coop at the moment, so no comment on that yet). I have mixed feelings. The game looks and sounds better than before. I'll wait on criticizing the animations in cutscenes (the "MOVE!" wasn't very convincing) but the combat ones I found very entertaining. I guess I'm a bit rusty with cover-based shooters and the new moves sometimes put me in more danger than safety. Also, I doubt this, but is there a workbench or something to use those upgrades you find? Can you get [sp]Kirrahe's[/sp] pistol? Also what happened to the promise that you'll be able to grab your enemy's weapons from the ground? Is this feature removed in the demo or the entire game?
As for story, if the Earth is how the game truly begins, I think they didn't do a good job on the transition from ME2 to ME3. Not much happened in the demo so I'm not sure how well-written the rest of the game is going to be, I only noticed that I was mostly watching a cutscene with the option to say a single line few times.

If I ever catch someone playing the game in "Action mode." I will be forced to murder them.
I was disappointed when I got no sniper as Infiltrator, I even put all points into the sniping skill tree.

The demo is available to all, BF3 owner or not. Just go to the Free Games section of Origin, and install it from there. If you own BF3 then it will automatically allow you access to the MP.

Also, I bought 1 veteran pack and 2 of those 5000 credit packs from the store and each said they unlocked a new character, but I didn't have any new characters unlocked when I checked, what's up with that?

Man these textures are really disappointing. Hopefully they are higher res in the full game, but somehow I doubt they will be. I mean come on, it's 2012 and Anderson's clothes looked like crap. Not to mention those blurry Shogun: Total War looking 2D civilians fleeing on the ground.
Looks like JeanLuc has some work to do when the game comes out. :P

God damn Co-Op is pretty fun. Hopefully down the road they had objective based levels. Wave based levels are going to get tiresome after awhile.
One nice detail I noticed; Kirrahe's dialogue implies that you're meeting him again for the first time during the firefight, whereas in the other footage, it's possible to meet him before Cerberus begins their assault on the base. So there'll be two completely different versions of dialogue, based on whether you spoke to him or not. Nice touch.

Someone want to help me out? I just finished the demo and it was fuckin' sweet. Multiplayer on the other hand i cant play much because when I'm in a lobby the game displays my origin email. How the shit do i change that?
It's a really stupid email, something i threw together for BF3.
I'm genuinely surprised that the multiplayer customization is so shitty. You'd think Bioware would allow for different pieces of armor, or at least helmets, that they could charge you extra for in those money hungry packs that they're peddling.
Oh, and maybe it's just me, but when you evac Vancouver, did anyone else get a total 'Scumbag Shepard' vibe?
