I really think they just couldn't fit everything that they had planned, within the timeframe and just copied deus ex's endings cause they couldn't explain there original endings without more background.

People really should stop being assholes to the developers, they worked hard to release ME3 and they did a pretty good job, it's just the writers / Casey who fucked up.

My friend was going to sabotage the cure. Once he found out he had to shoot Mordin (about midway through the dialogue with Mordin) he turned off his Xbox with a big "Nope." and loaded a save from way back.

This, all this. I'm doing my second playthrough right now, and I stand by the fact that Mass Effect 3 is by far one of the greatest games I've ever played, and completely incredible up until the last few minutes. I [B]hate[/B] the ending, but I love the game.
Bioware seems to be committed to dealing with the shitstorm, and though I do believe that we should never let up with the whole "fix the damn ending" bit until they follow through, stuff like this isn't going to get anyone, anywhere.

Yeah, I'm not going to say that ME3 is a broken shitgame for the last 10 min of the game, Compared with the 35 or so hrs i got from my playthrough
So... the more and more I read into this fix it seems like it's going to be a cutscene or something to clarify stuff.
