So, I've been reading the leaked script, and based on the listing of all the story quests in it, how was the ending different? Maybe I just haven't found the ending with how disorganized it is, but it seems pretty much the exact same. What was the ending that everyone thought they changed it from at the last moment?
You guys know you dont have to kill mordin, as long as you killed wrex and did not take mealons cure you can save him.
But his death was one of the best scenes of the whole series. I can't imagine a more perfect end for him.
But his death was one of the best scenes of the whole series. I can't imagine a more perfect end for him.
You would literally have to have not a single droplet of soul in you if you can actually let Wrex die.
But his death was one of the best scenes of the whole series. I can't imagine a more perfect end for him.
Besides he was getting old anyways, would rather have him go out with a bang as a hero than survive to live a few more years and then to die of old age.
Post on BSN from two years ago:
It's almost like they took both endings he mentioned and merged them into the worst ending possible.
But his death was one of the best scenes of the whole series. I can't imagine a more perfect end for him.
Yeah, keeping alive seems like he ended up a failure. His paragon death makes him seem like he lived a full life and went out like a hero.
Holy crap, BSN has evolved into a new level of hellhole "WE WANT NEW ENDINGS! NEW ENDINGS! HOLD THE LINE! WE WON'T STOP UNTIL WE GET THEM!" >jesus we'll change/clarify them "BIOWARE YOU GREEDY WHORES YOU ONLY WANT MY MONEY / YOU CAN'T FIX IT/ SERIES IS RUINED FOREVER / IT WON'T SATISFY ME" Guys. holy shit. Be happy that they're doing ANYTHING about it.
I was pissed that I got a crusader, but after using I learned that it is essentially the Valiant with no scope. Seriously, I've got headshots with it from across the map on Guardians, through the fucking slot.

You know... I've been thinking; at this point the DLC can't turn out to be Indoctrination ending. That theory's so mainstream and spread on every site ever that anyone who's played the game knows the theory inside and out now. I feel because of how well known it is, bioware wouldn't add that in. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline]
Created over 2 years ago, Modified over 2 years ago Darnalak wrote... That...Would...SUCK Would turn all of Shepard's (and everyone elses) struggle into a sideline. Exactly. There are two endings I wouldn't like for ME 3. One being a random GOD LIKE force that saves the Galaxy or another being that to defeat the Reapers, everyone has to become a primitivst and destroy the Relays, Citadel, etc. Both would make me pretty unhappy as those endings have been done to death.
BSN post from 2 years ago mother of god
the whole 'EMS score determines the end cutscene' thing might be what they are trying to add back in? is there any proof that this guy is legit though?
The problem is...that really isn't enough. To change the cutscene we get showing Earth's damage is just...nothing compared to the total breakdown in logic and narrative that the last 10 minutes is rife with.

The problem with the ending isn't just that it has no closure. The whole idea behind the ending is so bad, I don't even want any closure from it. I want the ending to be something different, something that is actually related to elements of the ME universe that have already been established, and has something to do with my past decisions.
Yeah, they should redo everything around the time marauder shields appears.
Yeah, they should redo everything around the time marauder shields appears.
I actually thought the encounter with TiM was pretty cool, even though it made little sense. It was interesting to see him break down. Martin Sheen's voice acting made that scene.

If the 'indoctrination' retcon isn't used, I'd image the changes will occur after the 'white elevator'.
Something posted on the gamefaqs board of ME3: http://pastebin.com/i2cNVDp4
That explains a hell of a lot, and given the very specific and directed criticism it gives them a chance to learn from it, or so we hope. The more I think on it though the more apparent it becomes that perception plays a huge part here. There will always be part of the game, of anything really, that are less than average. Think of the shitty sidemissions in ME2 or Jacob's Loyalty mission, in ME1 the story parts involving the Mako were terrible and almost all of the faffing about was terrible. Not including the end, ME3 is not new with shit parts. The problem lies in how you percieve the shit points. In a good enjoyable game, you skim over them and they're forgetable, as long as they're not too bad. In a game that you see as bad, these shit points become painful and are exaggerated subconsciously. The shit ending broke the perception and when you see it as bad, it becomes bad.

And showing TiM hiding among the bodies just waiting to jump you.

I want him to be a cult hit.
just reveal the kinkier stuff I want to know how many people wanted to bang Legion.
I can say that Legion, Mordin, and Wrex are all only 1% apart in that question :v:
I'm going to replay ME2, I would start from ME but I don't have it installed right now, thankfully I still have the save though.
some people just want to watch the world bang
Doesn't necessarily mean banging would be involved. Mordin/FemShep 4ever :v:
