What!? That's a LIE. I only played and finished the challenge on SILVER and I got an N7 sniper in my Commendation pack.
I contacted another guy and they gave me the N7 weapon. EA/Origin support is so bipolar.
Okay, so have I got it right that the game itself is great overall but the ending is the only serious issue?
You know, along with the ending DLC, Bioware should patch in a different picture for Tali's face. As in, something original, and not just a photoshopped picture of someone else's face. I doubt it would take very much effort at all.
Really, I think it was a mistake to add her face in at all.
Means the Geth aren't as likely to do war simply because they don't have the forces necessary to carry it out.
The Geth never wanted a war, and the Reapers most likely don't care about the Geth taking heavy casulties, with [sp]their ultimate goal being the destruction of Syntethics and all[/sp]
I contacted another guy and they gave me the N7 weapon. EA/Origin support is so bipolar.
I wonder if I could contact them and ask if I could get a different pack because the N7 hurricane is so bad :v:
Okay, so have I got it right that the game itself is great overall but the ending is the only serious issue?
Sidequest being mainly fetch-quests is also an issue. And how characters seem to forget that they talked to you. Anderson told me three times that he was from London, and I had to tell Tentacles like four times that I want to be more then friends.
Okay, so have I got it right that the game itself is great overall but the ending is the only serious issue?
In general, yes. There are some aesthetic issues regarding the messy journal, some buggy cut scenes, and the lack of dialogue choices (sometimes), but overall the game is pretty solid minus the ending.
Okay, so have I got it right that the game itself is great overall but the ending is the only serious issue?
You are right. The game is brilliant, except the end part.
Oh god, I was too busy helping Tuchanka to do the Grissom Academy mission. Now that I know [sp]a more mature Jack is a teacher there and if you don't do it she and her students get tortured[/sp] I feel like a prick. Screw this, I'm just going to restart the game, I'm not that far in it.
The Geth never wanted a war, and the Reapers most likely don't care about the Geth taking heavy casulties, with [sp]their ultimate goal being the destruction of Syntethics and all[/sp]
Of course the Geth don't want war. But in defending themselves, if you chose destroy then they probably are only half the size as opposed to you converting, so they are far more likely to come to some peace terms with the Quarians.
Human vanguards are op. I got 86k score one game, the #2 had 37k score. They kicked me in the lobby after the game because I killed everything so it was booring.
;_;7 If you didn't finish the game, it may contain spoilers.
EDIT: Nvm; forum had a brainfart.
Don't forget that they decimated Batarian space first. They almost certainly came through the Charon relay.
Look on the bright side. They decimated Batarians.
I"m getting rather pissed at the teams I'm getting in MP. The last 2 teams I've had were kill happy people who wouldn't take 2 meters to revive me.

Aswell with krogan soldiers and vanguard is that i'm the only one downloading intel and doing the objectives. Note, not all vanguards are like that tough. Most people are complaining about it is because it's 1 + 2 to win.
You guys makes me feel like an asshole when i steal kills with my N7 sniper as an sentinel. :(
You guys makes me feel like an asshole when i steal kills with my N7 sniper as an sentinel. :(
You are. And you should feel bad for it!
I hate people who quickly steal my kills. I'm about to heavy melee this enemy (who has low health) then suddenly, a Vanguard biotic charges it.
I can't stand soldiers and vanguards for this. Use singularity and every soldier thinks "I'd better steal this easy kill rather than letting the adept get the biotic explosion!" And ANY biotic or tech ability that highlight enemies make all vanguards think "I'd better charge THIS guy and ONLY this guy!"
I steal kills all the time with my sniper rifle while playing Infiltrator. Feel free to burn me at the stake.
Just so you guys know you don't lose anything from kills or kill-steals as your points are all calculated by damage done. this is why you might get 500+ for an assist or just 29 points for a kill :v: [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline]
I can't stand soldiers and vanguards for this. I think the destruction of the relays is just storyline preparation for an MMO Why? It was hinted throughout the series that civilisation gets destroyed close to when they unlock the science behind the relays - 50,000 years is an approximation, not an exact period. Aethyta on Illium implies that the Asari were close to making their own relays, and the Protheans out and out made one on Ilos. So in any possible MMO, if it comes to pass, every time they want to add another race to it, they just claim that the race involved made a relay and connected themselves to the relay network As for the fate of the Normandy, I don't think it took a relay to escape. The underlying 'science' behind the mass effect still exists, so what we saw was probably the Normandy in FTL. Cerberus Daily News (the Bioware entries, not the fan entries) are labelled canon. One of these entries mentioned a lost human colony in the Alpha Centauri system (link), which if memory serves me correctly, is about 4 light years away - not a huge distance using FTL. Given the information given about this lost colony, it is possible the Normandy, by sheer luck, landed here. Of course, I open myself to criticism here - I shall take it with good grace, and apathy As for the food situation, yes, it would be a problem, especially given that Earth would be, in a phrase, 'pretty buggered.' But it's not too much of a stretch to assume scientists could make a crappy paste for such an occasion. Hell, we can do it now. That might work EDIT: Oh my God, I've turned into one of those people. I am ashamed EDIT2: Also, the model textures are shit. HD texture pack, my arse
You are. And you should feel bad for it!
:(
Biggest thing I hate in MP is anyone with a widow or a krogan because ALL they do is steal kills, melee around the map and don't revive people who are saving your lives from phantoms
You know, Vanguards can do biotic combos.
Yeah, but most vanguards just charge around like retards and don't pay attention to enemy positions. A lot of the time they end up wasting the explosion.
I've actually been incredibly lucky with my teams so far. I only started on multiplayer yesterday, but every team so far has been talkative, friendly and had great teamwork. Maybe it'll be worse when I go for Silver. By the way, if anyone wants to play, add Othilious (PC).
Yeah, but most vanguards just charge around like retards and don't pay attention to enemy positions. A lot of the time they end up wasting the explosion.
I don't get whats with the Vanguards you people play with or how people have a hard-time. Vanguard is seriously one of the easiest (yet hard, no room to fuck up) but also funnest classes I've played in ME3.
Thessia was attacked long after earth. As far as homeworlds go - Earth is by far the most devastated. Because it bore the brunt of the reaper armada.
Eh, I have to disagree on that. Long-term, Palaven is really fucked. [sp]It was most likely far more developed than Earth, meaning less land to grow stuff. It's also very mountainous. Almost every major city got nuked from orbit (not literally nukes, just orbital strike) due to not surrendering and there was widespread use of Krogan fission nukes. They also faced the heaviest initial strike, only reason Earth actually suffered more at the beginning was that the Turian fleet was stupidly big. [/sp]
If the Reapers can reach Earth from outside the galaxy within six months, I think their technology would be pretty viable as a means of travel. Probably take about three months or so to cross the galaxy in a straight line.
That doesn't really make sense. I doubt they were half a galaxy (60,000 light-years) away, because there's no point to it. They were most likely a couple hundred light-years away, couple thousand at most. Besides, you can't just roll straight through the galaxy due to the black holes in the core and gravitational fields affecting your trajectory and pull. It's a whole different matter than flying through dark space where the only gravitational fields you're gonna encounter are dark matter and galaxies. EDIT: No wait that would be twice the galactic length. 240,000 light-years. Wow my brain is not working.
