Yeah, Vanguard is great for the person playing it, the rest of the team just have to put up with their shit.
I don't know, I never really had problems with Vanguards.
I finished the game yesterday. [sp]I wasn't entirely pleased with the ending at all. However, when I watched that indoctrination theory video, it really made a lot of sense. I genuinely hope that is the actual explanation, even if a lot of people are considering that idea.[/sp] In other news, I had a blast playing the game, and I really enjoyed many moments in the story.
Bleh. You spend the whole game working your ass off to save the damn galaxy only to end up fucking it up even more than before. Also, I was really confused after the credits [sp]when that dude finishes the story about Shepard the kid asks him about one more. And then he says, well alright we have time for one more, implying a new Shepard game? Or maybe DLC. Also, what confused me a LOT more is the fact that they are clearly on an alien world but when they talk about stars and space travel it is implied that none of that is present. Wtf?[/sp]
Play Gold in MP, Get to lvl 7 "nope fuck you" /WiFi Network dies AAAAAAAA [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline] /rant
In my opinion, [sp]curing the genophage[/sp] was the best part in the entire series.
Overall the best I agree, but I had the best "feel" on [sp]Palaven's moon[/sp]. Visually it was gorgeous compared to the drab brown of Tuchanka. A bit disappointed we didn't get to see the Turian military might and structure truly in action.

I always thought they [sp]landed on Virmire.[/sp]
The developers really need to get their "Anti Cheat" sorted out. Played MP today and ended up on a modded game and now I'm banned. I didn't even use my modified Coalesced. Apparently I'm banned because weapons were unlocked and I was given double credits. Sounds pretty fair, getting dropped into a random game and then being banned for it.
Yep, sounds pretty crap.
The one thing that makes no sense about the DESTROY ending is how the [sp]Citadel can detonate but Shepard can still be seen breathing on Earth?[/sp]
Wow i really love these Premium Veteran Packs, got Turian Sentinel, Quarian Infiltrator and M-98 Widow during this day.
The one thing that makes no sense about the DESTROY ending is how the [sp]Citadel can detonate but Shepard can still be seen breathing on Earth?[/sp]
This is where the [sp] Indoctrination[/sp] theory comes in.
http://mod.gib.me/masseffect3/testdump.txt So... the stargazer scene takes place 10,000 years after the end of ME3. Fake? Possible. T`was in the files though.
Wow i really love these Premium Veteran Packs, got Turian Sentinel, Quarian Infiltrator and M-98 Widow during this day.
When I got the Widow I cried out of happiness. One-shotting crap all the times makes it such a sweet weapon.
You know, along with the ending DLC, Bioware should patch in a different picture for Tali's face. As in, something original, and not just a photoshopped picture of someone else's face. I doubt it would take very much effort at all.
Honestly in the end I'm just kinda glad she's not like a bird or something under there. I romanced her in both games, so I was happy to not see Shepard kissing a beak or a lizard snout or anything. I'm a little worried about MP affecting now Sp. Since we'll probably get DLC down the road, or a lot of people will buy it used/on sale, it might be impossible for them to get a high enough EMS cause I doubt anyone will be playing MP 6 months from now.
Yeah, Vanguard is great for the person playing it, the rest of the team just have to put up with their shit.
I play as a vanguard. Their strength to me is quickly picking off the weaker foes, since they aren't very well suited against the big guys (brutes etc). Though perhaps that's just me playing it wrong. I've seen many player being so focussed on taking out The Big Bad Brute in the room that they don't notice a husk is gnawing on their butts. Vanguards can quickly zip in and get that Husk of your ass. I agree though, many vanguards are huge assholes.

This is my biggest worry with MP, ending up in a modded game and getting banned for nothing. Post on BioWare forums too. The idiots need to fix their shit not just ban people who have nothing to do with cheating. Goddamn idiots, my rage for EA grows constantly. What a retarded company.
Vanguard is way too effective when you start triggering biotic explosions with biotic charge

Well at least it isn't permanent, this time.
[sp] IMO the Control ending is the best 1. Most of the fleet survives 2. Citadel survives. There could be tons of supplies on their for the different species, they just need to get it back open. They could also try and reverse engineering the tech 3. Reaper debris. Grab the pieces study it, figure out how it works [/sp]
I contacted EA and they said that I needed to play Gold games during the Operation Goliath to unlock a N7 weapon in a Commendation Pack.
Got partial extraction from silver and got it. Did you have the feedback on?
One thing I didn't understand about the criteria for the Geth-Quarian thing, is why does destroying the geth in ME2 help while converting them doesn't?
Converting means the Geth fleet is bigger and thus the Quarians get more losses. Whereas destroying keeps more of the Quarian fleet intact. But if I recall Converting | reaper upload | Call off fleet nets you more war assets than Destroying | reaper upload | Call of fleet
The developers really need to get their "Anti Cheat" sorted out. MP stats are defined by an unencrypted localy stored file in the leader's game. That's seriously one of the dumbest ways you can build MP rules.
TH89 needs to make a rap about the endings.
Diana Allers is melting
It's not kill-stealing its teamwork. Its not about personal score but holding the line with you team. ... Well unless your one of those pussy bronze players.
On my fourth playthrough now (yes, yes, I know). Every time I play, it seems Javik becomes more and more unpleasant Still a good character, but Christ, he is not a nice man
You're just saying that because you're a primitive, human.

I romanced her in both games, so I was happy to not see Shepard kissing a beak or a lizard snout or anything.
That's, uh, awfully judgmental. Why did you romance the masked alien chick if you were worried about her not being human? Personally, I'm disappointed that Bioware just made them space elves. They took a big risk by making the Quarian's appearance unknown, and then they just completely failed to use that leverage by making them boring Star Trek aliens.
How does BioWare explain this. No matter what ending you choose [sp]the mass relays get destroyed[/sp] but in ME2 it clearly states that if a [sp]mass relay is destroyed it wipes out the whole system it is in with the explosion, which is again proven by Arrival DLC and the Batarian colony. The explosion of all mass relays would wipe out pretty much most of the galaxy and it would destroy ALL the forces that came to Earth to fight[/sp]
yes the reapers planned for this obviously to happen, they knew that all the races would wipe themselves out eventually
