So I just though of the endings Anyone else think it would have been a cool choice to [sp]be able to "reset" the Reapers, so they'd leave and return in 50k years and just stopping their harvesting right now? It would be open (basically leaving room for sequels), and it'd be fine even if it killed Shepard. It would be unknown if the races of the galaxy could get their act together in time, or if they'd think the whole invasion was just a legend from 50k years ago. And even if Shepard could live, Bioware has 50,000 years of potential timeline so they could just skip 1000 years till Shepard and the oldest living potential LI are dead. And wouldn't it be pretty cool finding one of Liara's time capsules in a future title down the line? With all the data of the decisions etc you made in the trilogy contained inside?[/sp] [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline] Now the question remains, will it appear even if it was destroyed? Either way it's a shame we've never seen it fire its main gun.
That's better than what we have currently. And no it won't appear if destroyed in ME1.

let me fix that for you
Just watched indoctrination theory video, wow I haven't played ME3 but this theory seems pretty viable.
To bad Bioware stated that it's wrong
Yeah, they Just plain flat out wrote an ending that didn't make any sense.
To bad Bioware stated that it's wrong
I want to believe...
I want to believe...
We all do...we all do (On an unrelated note, I'll stream ME2 tomorrow at like 6pm GMT)
To bad Bioware stated that it's wrong
Wait where?
Wait where?
Southern Quadren, but they were on the move; current location unkown. Their "Final Hours" (or how it's called) app
Where did they come out and deny it? Nevermind.
Southern Quadren, but they were on the move; current location unkown.
There is no time to be lost!
I wanted to see the god damned Destiny Ascension fire it's main gun in ME3, is that too much to ask? It's the only reason I saved the council in ME1.
There is no time to be lost!
We are the empra's fury!
ea support is goddamn helpful. I wasn't 100% sure whether the victory pack was supposed to be given to me or not because I fairly well recall beating reapers on silver, but I told the guy I wasn't sure, so I told him to check. he basically said DONT WORRY I GOT THIS SHIT and gave me one
ah now i see it, was watching a youtube video without it. Ignore my sillyness.
Look at the size of that thing next to those tiny asari cruisers damn. I hope it shoots lasers the size of it's "mouth"
@masseffect twitter said "Anything is possible" when a guy asked if the indoctrination theory is possible. Not only that the ending is crappy and full of unexplained stuff/plot holes but it's making me REALLY confused.
Look at the size of that thing next to those tiny asari cruisers damn. I hope it shoots lasers the size of it's "mouth"
probably perspective
probably perspective
actually, nope the ascension is bigger than sovereign [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline] don't disagree, it is even almost in vertical height, even with sovereign horizontally flying at a 45 degree tilted angle
actually, nope the ascension is bigger than sovereign [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline] don't disagree, it is even almost in vertical height, even with sovereign horizontally flying at a 45 degree tilted angle
If we're talking about the Ascension's size relative to Asari cruisers I'm pretty sure the only difference is the large tower on the top. I can't say for Sovereign because I don't remember.
For us nerds who like discussing the spaceships and different fleets, the wiki is very interesting and contains the codex voice files. enjoy! http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Codex/Ships_and_Vehicles
don't disagree, it is
Get a load of this fuckin' guy.
"Sovereign is the flagship of the rogue Spectre Saren Arterius. An enormous dreadnought larger than any other ship in any known fleet."
The only thing that describes the Ascension's size is the codex entry on dreadnoughts calling them "kilometer-long capital ships" and the Ascension is a dreadnought. Not that it is a definitive answer.
I was on BSN and I found this: Dafaq
What a page king
actually, nope the ascension is bigger than sovereign [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline] don't disagree, it is even almost in vertical height, even with sovereign horizontally flying at a 45 degree tilted angle
I'd love that to be true but it's not really possible, it'd be absurdly expensive to build an FTL drive for a ship that size. There's even a point after which the FTL drive has to be bigger than the ship itself (with contemporary technology - reapers, obviously, are far more advanced).
I'm quite pissed that in ME3 you don't even get to talk or interact with Harbinger at all.
I'm quite pissed that in ME3 you don't even get to talk or interact with Harbinger at all.
Its like they dropped half of the good voice actors, Mordin's included (although Mark Meer is still cool.).
Its like they dropped half of the good voice actors, Mordin's included (although Mark Meer is still cool.).
Harbinger's voice acting was weak compared to Sovereign's
I'm quite pissed that in ME3 you don't even get to talk or interact with Harbinger at all.
It's like the Mako in ME1, people complained about it so they removed it entirely.
