[QUOTE=GetBent;35252080]It's like the Mako in ME1, people complained about it so they removed it entirely.[/QUOTE] Dafuq, why would someone complain about interaction with Harbinger? I wanted to talk to him. He is after all, the leader of the Reapers.
[QUOTE=teh pirate;35252065]Harbinger's voice acting was weak compared to Sovereign's[/QUOTE] That's not a fair comparison to make. Sovereign's voice acting was godly.
[QUOTE=Boba_Fett;35252181]That's not a fair comparison to make. Sovereign's voice acting was godly.[/QUOTE] Exactly as you'd expect for a reaper, which is why Harbinger's voice acting disappointed me greatly
[QUOTE=GetBent;35252080]It's like the Mako in ME1, people complained about it so they removed it entirely.[/QUOTE] Who complained about it? Hell, everyone liked talking with him at the end of Arrival.
[QUOTE=The DooD;35246822]One thing I didn't understand about the criteria for the Geth-Quarian thing, is why does destroying the geth in ME2 help while converting them doesn't?[/QUOTE] I converted the Geth heretics in ME2 and still managed to unite the Quarians and Geth and save Tali.
At least we got the Rannoch Reaper to talk to.
[QUOTE=Skyward;35252295]Who complained about it? Hell, everyone liked talking with him at the end of Arrival.[/QUOTE] All the people saying they hated his voice. And I guess they took all the "THIS HURTS YOU" meme stuff as negative feedback. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline] [QUOTE=The DooD;35246822]One thing I didn't understand about the criteria for the Geth-Quarian thing, is why does destroying the geth in ME2 help while converting them doesn't?[/QUOTE] Think of your actions as affecting the trust of the Quarians when you try to convince them to stand down. They see you destroying the Geth as a sign they can trust you, while rewriting as a sign you might not be totally on their side.
[QUOTE=yellowoboe;35252377]At least we got the Rannoch Reaper to talk to.[/QUOTE] It's a shame he was just 2deep4u.
[QUOTE=Boba_Fett;35252181]That's not a fair comparison to make. Sovereign's voice acting was godly.[/QUOTE] Yeah, i felt squashed when i spoke to Sovereign for the first time, like "i'm so, so screwed".
[QUOTE=Black Milano;35252517]Yeah, i felt squashed when i spoke to Sovereign for the first time, like "i'm so, so screwed".[/QUOTE] Was it just me that felt the Sovereign was about to completely fuck up the galaxy and then when you raced to Ilos and you're fighting to stop the Reapers, there was a dramatic feeling about it that was then completely lost in ME2/3.
[QUOTE=smug.gif;35250666][img]http://chainsawsuit.com//comics/20120322.png[/img][/QUOTE] I know this is just a comic, but I'm really tired of people who go "What the fuck makes you think you know better than a bunch of [B]professional[/B] writers?" Just because they're professional doesn't mean everything they do is solid gold.
[QUOTE=yellowoboe;35252377]At least we got the Rannoch Reaper to talk to.[/QUOTE] To be honest, the rannoch reaper saying "finish you're war, we will be waiting" was pretty chilling.
Okay mass effect is a game where you're making an unkown deal, with an unkown "leader" if he even is the leader, granting you unknown results. Quality writing.
[QUOTE=noneshallpass;35252784]Okay mass effect is a game where you're making an unkown deal, with an unkown "leader" if he even is the leader, granting you unknown results. Quality writing.[/QUOTE] LOTS OF SPECULATION EVERYWHERE.
[QUOTE=Arvuti;35252764]To be honest, the rannoch reaper saying "finish you're war, we will be waiting" was pretty chilling.[/QUOTE] The voice being Sovereignish made it even better.
[QUOTE=Goldenboy;35250962]Huh, I only just realised that Legion was the [sp]rebellious agricultural unit in the VI program.[/sp] Wow.[/QUOTE] [sp]All the memories are his. He's made up of more Geth programs than most.[/sp]
QUESTION [sp]Very confused, watching some videos, when i chose (i didnt think i got a choice) to destroy the reapers, all the humans on earth were killed too. However i just watched a vid and they survived. Why?[/sp]

[QUOTE=Dominicus;35252937]An EMS higher than 1749 will result in that not happening.[/QUOTE] That is how low of an EMS you need? lol how is that even possible?

[QUOTE=GetBent;35252961]That is how low of an EMS you need? lol how is that even possible?[/QUOTE] Do no sidemission. No Multiplayer. I think that way you'll make less than 3500 MS.
I did nearly every side mission and no MP and by the end of the game I had 1700 EMS. I just altered the value of the Elcor Flotilla to 10,000 ~war bucks~.

Holy shit you guys. In regards to the ending. I know it couldn't have been the true thing, or at the very least, if it was, it HAD to be half assed. I was looking through the art book and I noticed this: [img]http://imgur.com/PoWJZ[/img] [url]http://imgur.com/PoWJZ[/url] Doesn't that look like the hallway from the end? Well here is what the book says. "This is what the final room might have looked like if Shepard fought him in this space. The concept is meant to show the moment right before the confrontation, during which Shepard is walking past the bodies of the last of the Illusive Man’s Cerberus troops." It is talking about the Illusive Man's base, where the Illusive man was at once possibly intended to be the final boss: "One of the plans on the drawing board was to have the Illusive Man turn into a Reaper creature for the final battle. Eventually, this plan was scrapped, since we wanted to give players the satisfaction of fighting a character they know rather than a random creature. The design implies that the Illusive Man’s weapon is his intelligence, not his physical strength." So all in all, perhaps the in game ending is the ending "they" wanted, but I'm pretty sure they just reused previous resources. image tags not working?
Eh, I don't even know if it's true or not removing it.
[QUOTE=haloguy234;35253164]I did nearly every side mission and no MP and by the end of the game I had 1700 EMS. I just altered the value of the Elcor Flotilla to 10,000 ~war bucks~.[/QUOTE] That's quite something. Because when I do every sidemission (I haven't played MP yet) I end up with something along the lines of 3500 EMS.
[QUOTE=teh pirate;35253183]Did you purposely make all the worst choices wherever possible or something[/QUOTE] No, 98% of my game was purely paragon until I hit the end [sp]and couldn't convince TIM to off himself because I forgot to use Charm on Thessia.[/sp]
