Eh who cares. Ignore the dolt.
No doommarine, you are the dolt! And then doommarine rated everyone box
Bioware social is a place full of sad fucks. At least most of them, not all.
Joker: If he can shoot and jog, Getting laid won't kill him. Besides, what are zero grav environments made for? :suicide: If these were all made into bumper stickers i would stick as many as possible on my car. Ironicly of course.

Was bored with photoshop that's mark meer btw.
Man, the game is packed to the gills with customizable stats and weapons. The folks saying Mass Effect 3 is more streamlined than ever clearly don't know what the hell they're talking about.
Agreed. And it looks like the early mentions of 'any class can use any weapon, but they're limited by number' was slightly innaccurate; rather it seems that they're limited by weight instead, and only the soldier will have the capacity to fill all his slots.

I assume the less shooty classes, like Adept and Engineer, can only carry two lighter ones or a biggish one.

It's pretty frustrating to see how much the gameplay has been improved, and yet the story from the script couldn't be much worse. It's like the gameplay designers took ME2's criticisms to heart, and the writers just took a shit and called it the plot.
So i went back to ME2 to start a new save to import and oh god bioware, You must fix the mouse settings for ME3, They are horrible in ME2. Have anyone here found some way to make it better, I tried it with my drivers (Storm Sentinel) and all it did was screw over my normal mouse settings

Anyone have a place to buy a cd key for origin or steam for mass effect 1 for under 20 dollars?
Anyone have a place to buy a cd key for origin or steam for mass effect 1 for under 20 dollars?
I'm looking also. I got it on Direct2Drive for five bucks a while ago. Now Gamefly "is still in the process of populating games on their client". Theres no way I can play it unless I wait for them to put it on their client OR buy it again.
It's cheap enough on amazon, but I just don't feel like waiting or paying for shipping. I'm good for mass effect 2, most keysites have a bunch of keys for it and that's cheap. As I said before, paying 19.99 for a game thats half a decade old is a bit much.
Even if the Rachni DO appear in ME3 regardless of your choices it'd make sense to me. I mean we all know that Sovereign may have indoctrinated the Rachni to cause the Rachni wars (from listening to what the Rachni queen in ME1 says) - if I were Sovereign and I were going to use such creatures to attempt to take over the galaxy I'd surely take a few on board and do genetic tests on them, clone them, that sort of thing. It wouldn't surprise me if the Reapers released indoctrinated creatures from cycles millions of years ago that we've only read about in the galaxy map in ME3 simply because they deemed them worthy and useful as shocktroops and decided to clone them en masse or something.
There will be Rachni in 3 regardless, and it's not even a spoiler. Cerberus still has unlinked Rachni by the truckload. Started playing Mass Effect 2 again, came in this thread, spoiled myself a few ME3 plots but oh well! I probably wasn't going to buy it on release anyway. Shepard's new armour looks pretty bulky...
I just noticed that Wreav is in that Demo, not Wrex!
what's the bet that the story will be the same whether you have Wrex or Wreav?
what's the bet that the story will be the same whether you have Wrex or Wreav?
Exept Wrex has more bro-y lines and actions.
what's the bet that the story will be the same whether you have Wrex or Wreav?
[editline]3rd February 2012[/editline] There probably won't be a great deal of difference between Wrex and Wreav, except Wrex might be a bit more open to conversation rather than just blowing the almighty shit out of everything and at least attempt to save the Krogan.
what's the bet that the story will be the same whether you have Wrex or Wreav?
I'd imagine Wrex will make it easier to get a 'Krogan & Salarians satisfied' outcome, rather than one or the other.
Seeing as you can start from 3 with no prior experience and get the best ending in the game, that would be correct.
what's the bet that the story will be the same whether you have Wrex or Wreav?
He'll just be a bit more 'mean' in the dialogue. Choices
I wonder if releasing the queen in ME1 will make any difference to the Rachni in ME3.
I wonder if releasing the queen in ME1 will make any difference to the Rachni in ME3.
Supposedly it's [sp]one of the bad paragon choices since the Rachni Queen, as somewhat foreshadowed via the codex and such in ME1, is easily indoctrinated.[/sp]
Supposedly it's [sp]one of the bad paragon choices since the Rachni Queen, as somewhat foreshadowed via the codex and such in ME1, is easily indoctrinated.[/sp]
I think that's stupid. [sp]Let's reward the player with paragon for making a good and merciful choice, and then long after they've chosen we'll just go with Renegade being the best option anyways.[/sp]
I'd imagine Wrex will make it easier to get a 'Krogan & Salarians satisfied' outcome, rather than one or the other.
Yeah that's what I would hope. But seeing as the default decision will probably be no Wrex (like ME2), they'll have to make it possible to make peace even with Wreav, because we can't forget about those wacky guys that like to start a trilogy with the third instalment!
I fucking love Wrex. Just the "SHEPARD! MY FRIEND!" bro hug in ME2 was worth the disappointment at the 10 minutes of time he was in it.
I think that's stupid. A decision like this would blur the lines between good and evil, and quite frankly that's what this series needs.[/sp]

Then again, knowing bioware...[/sp]
[sp]It would be unfair for Paragons to be perfect though. A decision like this would blur the lines between good and evil, and quite frankly that's what this series needs.[/sp]
Even though that decision was one of the few that actually gave me pause and made me think, I agree that what they are doing with it is good because [sp] in ME2, Paragon was essentially "right" and renegade was "wrong" since you got the best ending by being friendly to everyone, but you got the worst ending for being a dick. The problem with this is there should be no right or wrong with the moral choices. And this is an example of that. Still upsets me though. I liked the Rachni queen =<[/sp]
