And Carth and Kaidan are the same, but that's incredibly obvious.
My problem with Carth and Kaiden is that the voice actor for them doesn't sound like that in Star Trek Voyager!
ANYWAY, Saw this on ME2 faces.. this is the best Femshep I've ever seen.
I'm about to lose my agreeing streak but I honestly feel that MaleShep is so hard to play with that voice
He doesn't even remotely sound badass, he sounds like a weiner. Whenever he acts tough it's hillarious. When he tries to sound sincere it's hillarious. He's voice is so high pitched and nasally
You listen to this and tell me that Meer doesn't knock it out of the park.

Sorry man... genuinely sorry... but I feel I'm gonna kill this arguement right here and just say you're not gonna sway me. I'll always prefer Female Shepards to Male Shepards. I don't know, maybe I just want one more female hero in gaming.
Femshep makes the best renegade, she sounds so cold and ruthless compared to Sheploo just sounding loud and dickish. Main reason why my renegade character is female.
Well according to BioWare's statistics, only like 18% of players play as Femshep. Rest are all male.
Well according to BioWare's statistics, only like 18% of players play as Femshep. Rest are all male.
18% is honestly more then I expected. That's kinda neat.
wait, you people actually like Meer's voice over FemShep?
I have LITERALLY NEVER UNDERSTOOD THIS
Femshep is my canon Shepard, she always will be. Her voice actually makes her sound like a fucking SOLDIER.

See that? Scary bitch. I would never want to mess with her.
She sounds pissed off an bored when she's trying to sound compassionate or caring though.
She even sounds less pissed off when you pick renegade lines sometimes.

You think that Meer's voice is high pitched, when its probably lower pitched than your own.

I'm confused. Does that mean people who have played a female or consider their Shepard female?

People who made a female Commander Shepard.

You know, BioWare has a chance to make the ending right REALLY easy. Everyone is starting to talk and believe more and more into the [sp]indoctrination theory[/sp]. Now, BioWare may have actually planned this on purpose (which would be one genius mindfuck in that case but I actually doubt they did) But, what they need to do is release a DLC where [sp]Shepard will wake up in the rubble and you realize it was all fake and that you almost got indoctrinated while you were knocked out by Harbingers beam and unconscious. You had those hallucinations because of Harbinger who tried to trick you into actually dooming the Galaxy. But you have awakened and you get up and manage to somehow contact the fleet and everyone else. And that's where the real ending starts. From there, they could literally fix it ALL and make the proper ending where your choices do matter, your paragon/renegade score also etc.[/sp] Imo that's the easiest way to control the outrage of the fans and make a proper ending that will satisfy people.
for the ending, the paragon/renegade system would be super dumb, I mean for example, if i agree with lets say bob and he hates politicians i would get his support by going more renegade, and then if i agree with alice and she agrees with the more paragon view i would go more paragon to sway her, and so get both they're support but with this system now really all i can do is pick one or the other, rather than both getting less paragon/renegade but more support

I'm a bit late on the reply, but how was this done? Also, if it's Coalesced editing, can't that get you banned from origin?

It's pretty sad that your trying to convince yourself this is the case.
Almost as sad as people preferring the idea that the end "was all just a dream".
Your only hope is that Bioware intentionally fucked over the customer so that they could make ending dlc.
Bioware is fucking awful when it comes to ingame stores, bought 2 specter packs and didn't get them, talked to support and "oh thats a known bug and we are trying to fix it." thanks for taking my $4 Bioware.
I'm really wishing I had stockpiled on those equipment packs, I'm starting to get low on missiles and medigel.

I'm not trying to convince myself into anything, I just wrote how BioWare can fix this and control the fallout/outrage the easiest way. I never said I believe in [sp]indoctrination theories[/sp]
I'm a bit late on the reply, but how was this done? Also, if it's Coalesced editing, can't that get you banned from origin?
Yeah, it's Coalesced editing, and it hasn't been banned for, as far as we know. They would have a lot of angry SP modders on their hands if they were able to screw around just fine in ME2, but had their game taken away if they did it in ME3. I think the only thing they check for is if someone gets a disproportionate amount of credits done through cheating.
What happened to mandalore movies? I miss his vids like DJ harbinger :(
He's voice is so high pitched and nasally.
It's deeper than FemShep's.
It sounds less like a woman trying to be Batman.

>I prefer female shepards
>obviously I'm a high pitched 12 nerd
Just... put it this way... would you rather have to stare at a man or a woman's ass for a 30 hour experience?
:v:
If you have a lot of squadmates die in ME2, are there more voices in the dream sequences?
AGUhaguhaguhaguhagauh, did a Gold match, wave 11, 20 phantom spawns on each of us, we all got executed within 4 seconds of wave start.
Still got the glorious 71k credits though.

So I decided to play Mass Effect 2 again and while doing the Omega Clinic mission... my camera decided to be static and not follow me so...
Just... put it this way... would you rather have to stare at a man or a woman's ass for a 30 hour experience?
Why are you staring at your characters ass for thirty hours? Or for any amount of time?
you know what, just nevermind
I prefer Female Shepards voice acting. That's my opinon. No one on other side is going to convince the other one. Malesheps will always love malesheps, femsheps will love femsheps. Whatever. We all love Mass Effect so I don't care.

I didn't actually edit coalsced.bin for that. I used gibbed's ME3 save editor and fucked around in the Raw tab for a few minutes.
Editing the "casual" tab under appearance with any of the following values creates the desired effect:
0 - Default Uniform
2 - Medical Uniform
7 - Bra and Panties
8 - Charred Armor
9 - Black Dress (similar to outfit for Stolen Memory)
10/11 - Null, revert to default

Yeah, FemShep sounds like someone who has NEVER been hugged. Ever.
