mmm then why i could never find jack and thane? according to the me3 wiki they do appear in the game
They only appear if you import a save from ME2 where they are alive. [sp]Jack appears in the Grissom Academy mission. Thane appears in the Huerta memorial hospital pretty early on.[/sp]
It seriously pissed me right the fuck off that Wrex didn't rejoin your squad. It's the ME1 cast, minus Wrex. Do you know how insanely naked the squad feels without a gigantic Krogan brute backing me up? Vega, you DO NOT COUNT

Vega<Grunt<Wrex
One of my favourite minor characters in ME3. It was just nice to see another N marine in the field. I liked how her and her squad were, for all intents and purposes, 'our' multiplayer characters.
I was planning on naming my MP characters after minor characters. Looks like she'll be my female soldier.

He was just a bounty hunter in ME1 and wasn't really tied to anyone, now he's to leading the Krogan, and trying to cure the Genophage. If anything, Grunt should have been the one to come back.

But the squad felt boring without a krogan around.
I was planning on naming my MP characters after minor characters. oh my god where do I find Zaeed in ME3 loaded an ME2 save (didn't want to first time around cause I lost Miranda, Jack, and Grunt due to having less time doing missions than I thought) that had him loyal [editline]23rd March 2012[/editline]
I've named my MP characters all "Vega names" -Dick ManMuscle -Crunch Largesteak -Rip TearJaw -Buff Steelpecs -Stomp ChestSqueeze -Punch Jerkfast -Stride Fistfoot
my quarian engineer is Beefy McRoids

Given how difficult it was to kill him in ME2 (highest 'hold the line' score), I could see a DLC hook?
wait, you people actually like Meer's voice over FemShep? I have LITERALLY NEVER UNDERSTOOD THIS Femshep is my canon Shepard, she always will be. Her voice actually makes her sound like a fucking SOLDIER. See that? Scary bitch. I would never want to mess with her. Him? WHat the fuck is that? He sounds like some kid on the internet who's playing tough. I'm not scared of him.
exactly how i feel. maleshep is so boring and nonthreatening. hale is an infinitely better voice actor and a female shepard is far more interesting. shepard is a girl to me. [editline]24th March 2012[/editline]
Meer might be less emotional, but he's extremely consistent and his voice fits the voice of a soldier, imo.
But that's the thing. He sounds like just another boring space marine. I don't want to be a soldier, I want to be commander shepard.
did you do the sidequest with the [sp]volus ambassador after the cerberus attack on the citadel[/sp]
Oh okay that's where Zaeed will be found I did that on my "new" save, not the imported one Thanks for that
You listen to this and tell me that Meer doesn't knock it out of the park.
both shep va's fudge this scene up
I only died twice in that fight on insanity too bad [sp]i spent 15 minutes trying to beat marauder shields holy fuck[/sp]
I actually got that on the first try.

Is it just me or is this whole sparring scene a lot better with that music instead of what was in there by default?
chakram launcher in green ain't that bad lookin
chakram launcher in green ain't that bad lookin
I love it to bits. Use it charged with cryo ammo for hilarity. A charged shot freezes a target and the little explosion afterwords serves as a cherry tap.
But that's the thing. He sounds like just another boring space marine. I don't want to be a soldier, I want to be commander shepard.
To each their own. I don't think Meer's interpretation sounds like a boring space marine; rather, I think he sounds like someone in control of his emotions (usually), but also with presence. And, imo, he does a superb job in Mass Effect 3. Sarcastic, emotional, strong...Meer really did a great job.

[editline]24th March 2012[/editline]
Femshep sounds like she's actively trying to make her voice sound gruff and threatening. It sounds incredibly fake to me, even if she does some emotional scenes better.
But that's the thing. He sounds like just another boring space marine. I don't want to be a soldier, I want to be commander shepard.
My Shepard is bald and looks about 40 or 50 - he is just a soldier - a seasoned but thoughtful officer who has simply had extraordinary circumstances thrust upon him. He stays level with his emotions, and keeps them inside as part of an effort to maintain a strong presence for the people that look to him for hope. And that's why some people like one VA and some people another; the player projects the traits they admire onto their character. What fits one player's Shepard might not fit another.
