You know what pisses me off as a Female Quarian infiltrator?
Fuckhead other classes attacking the enemies I just hacked.
No, you stupid shit; don't attack the Friendly Geth Prime, let it beat the shit out of the other geth first.
I wanna play a Geth so damn badly in MP. I don't care if it would be confusing having geth on your team while fighting geth, I WANNA BE A BADASS ROBOT.
Anyone got any good camo sets? Trying to find something decent looking but cant find anything.

Blue and white, grey and white, black and white.

I think it would be awesome to have a 'living tank' Elcor soldier, but that would also mean they would need to create an entirely new set of weapons.
Flatly: you have no idea how much I would like to play as an Elcor
Blue and white, grey and white, black and white.
Terrible.
Green and Brown
Orange and Green
Blue and Yellow
Blue and Orange
Deep Blue and Purple
Just figure it out.

Just put a big thanix cannon on them.

Twin cobra missile launchers or geth spitfires
oh yeah, and now that heads explode when you headshot them, I call official gears of war clone status
i mean the flamethrower enemies were blatant enough, but this doesn't even make sense
I'm just going to write this down because I don't know where else to post it, but here are Mr. Scorpio's Laws of RPG Writing and Design.
1. The Game Master is the controller of the world and all NPC characters. The player is the controller of the protagonist. This boundary lets the player become immersed in the world. To break this boundary is to separate the player from the protagonist, and by extension the world of the game.
2. All actions taken by the protagonist are to be initiated by the player. An insult, an order, a gunshot. Anything that the protagonist does should be known in advance by the player, just as they know in advance what they themselves would do. To have your protagonist act separately of the player is to separate them from the protagonist, and by extension the world of the game.
3. Do not arbitrarily reward a player for following one course of action or punish them arbitrarily for another. A character who cares for all life and spends all of their effort on altruistic endeavors is no more legitimate a character than a traumatized warrior who cares for life but has little respect or mercy for the cowardly or the manipulative. A character who walks the line should be as viable and effective as one who sticks to a single driving principle. To break this rule is to punish creativity on the part of the player and to reduce their investment in the protagonist.
4. All actions taken by the player must have an appropriate reaction. As a bullet fired results in a loss of health in the enemy hit, an action taken by the protagonist during the course of the story should have a reaction matching the importance and scope of the action. To break this rule is to make the decisions of the protagonist seem meaningless and to lessen the importance that the player puts on them, therefor lessening the connection that the player has to the world.
5. All precedents set by the Game Master must be adhered to unless the reason for their change is adequately explained. If a character is established to think in a certain way or an object established to act in a certain way, they must continue to do so until their change is explained. To break this rule is to confuse the player and to make them feel that the world is confusing or unfair.
This all seem to be sensible? It's not like there are any professional colleges or schools of thought for this shit, so I thought it would be interesting to get it all down.
Good points. I was watching some gameplay of ME1 yesterday and I noticed that the player controls almost all of Shepard's dialogue. Even if he only says a line or two, he controls pretty much everything. ME2 felt like a decent compromise since it could get tedious if you control *too* much but you're right that ME3 takes too much control away from the player at times.

Wasn't there geth pyros in ME1?
There were plenty of pyro enemies in ME2 aswell.

But no Geth, only Vorcha.
I've always found Geth Flamethrowers a tad lame, I don't know. In my opinion it doesn't really suit the whole Geth air I've made up in my mind.
So I'm on the Geth Dreadnought part again and I notice Joker cracking his knuckles as he says he's putting the ship into stealth mode.
Seems like an unwise thing to do when grabbing his arm almost broke it, and sneezing too hard breaks his ribs. I could have ended up with a pilot with all of his fingers broken.
It really annoyed me that I never found the heavy weapons until after I have killed whatever tough enemy I was fighting. That reaper blackstar probably would have been useful the first time the first time I fought 2 brutes and didn't realize that using warp, then throw would kill them quickly
Don't bother going for upgraded shitty weapons. The increase between each roman numeral is 2.5% more damage. However if you want to reduce the weight of the weapon, it's actually worth it to upgrade them - 5% weight reduction which is actually pretty significant.

There were Blue Sun pyros too, and a few more in Arrival.
I'd like to speak for Asari Vanguards, we're not like our charge and die human cousins. Our bubble stasis freezes groups of enemies increasing the damage dealt to them; especially helpful with phantoms and blocking chokepoints. Due to our more support role than manguards our charge is perfect for rapid assistance if a team mate is out numbered. Not only can we deliver massive single point damage, with our AoE heavy melee and the correct stats to increase melee damage we can turn the tide in cluster-fuck situations. All in all we not that bad.
And now my xbawks froze when we had 1 min 'til extraction, missed 30k credits wohoo.

I don't see the issue here.
And I think the term "Gears of War clone/ripoff" is getting a little quaint. Cover based shooters are getting so popular, you might as well start calling FPS games "Doom clones".
I fucking love this soundtrack

The part towards the end is pure sex, 1:40 and on

GoW is a kill.switch ripoff
The Turian Soldier's chestplate reminded me of Protoman, so I colored him Red and Yellow.
