[sp]A Korp of Krogan Kommandos vs. a horrific insane Frankenstein monster Rachni Queen stitched together from the corpses of Rachni Soldiers? Yeah, I'll stick with Aralahk.[/sp]
[sp]unless you werent an idiot and saved them in the first game[/sp]

I think one of the problems that people are missing when they talk about the "integrity of the storyteller's vision" is that an RPG isn't like a traditional work of literature.
It's a tango between the player and the writer. That's what makes it unique. It's not about manipulating the emotions of an audience to invest them in a universe, it's about letting them tell the story they want to tell. It's about catering to the wills of the player.
That may sound entitled, but that's how the system works and has worked since guddamn Baldur's Gate. It's what works the best, and what makes RPGs so effective.
People complain about how players are self entitled and arrogant because they want the ending changed. They don't understand that they must be demanding on the workings of the story. Because due to the way it's told, it's their story to tell. And if Bioware loses sight of that, they will suffer.

I'm gonna be honest. If the game had ended on that scene, right there, [sp]with the Crucible actually working as it should[/sp], with perhaps an epilogue afterward, the ending would have been nearly perfect as far as I'm concerned. There'd still be some plot holes, but not nearly as bad as the ones in the ending we have right now.
Wait, are weapons like the Geth Lancer, Geth Shotgun and Claymore considered rare?
Because I got the Claymore and Evicerator in one spectre pack
claymore is rare plasma shotgun is rare javelin is n7 eviscerator is uncommon
Just beat a silver match with three krogan on the team. It was glorious, to say the least.
I've been replaying Mass Effect 2 and I'm up to doing Legion's loyalty mission.
I know it's a renegade choice to destroy the heretic geth, but I've read that it's a way to gain "points" towards being able to [sp]"Rally the Fleet" and save both the Quarians and the Geth[/sp] in Mass Effect 3, which wasn't even available as a choice to me the first time.
Does anybody know if this is true? I hate making renegade choices.
I rewrote them, got tali exiled yet[sp] I still was able to make peace between the Quarians and Geth. I managed to do this by completing the Rannoch side missions prior to the main one and by having a full reputation bar (mostly Paragon with just a tiny bit of Renegade)[/sp]

Where is the chart or whatever I can find so I can take a look?
okay, i'm running into a serious fucking problem with this fucking writing and it's really fucking pissing me off
I'm noticing that when I am given choices, the choices amount to
"I care about ashley! Let's save her!"
to
"DAMNIT MAN, I'M SAVING ASHLEY WHETHER YOU WANT TO HELP OR NOT"
uughghhh the DA2 memories are flooding back
When? Where?

Have you not played these games before and are posting as you play them, or are you going through each and every game and posting something every time you find something wrong with a flow everyone knows about?
I ask because it's pretty annoying.
When? Where?
How about right at the beginning in Udina's office, where you can either say "The council just doesn't understand how important humanity is and how they should all help us" or "The council is too stupid to understand how important humanity is and how they should all help us". Or how about after the dream sequence when you have a choice between "I'm worrying about all the innocents dying on earth" or "I hate the council for being so political and letting all the innocents on earth die".
It's a choice between a nice guy and an angry guy with the exact same intentions and feelings.

I've been playing Mass Effect since the first game came out. I've played every Bioware game released since BG.
Oh shit, to save the Rachni Queen (I saved her in ME1) or not to save her.

Oh shit, to save the Rachni Queen (I saved her in ME1) or not to save her.
It isn't the same queen, you know.
thanks, but I dont see the preorder weapons in there like the hurrcaine or the L named sniper rifle...
you can't get the preorder/dlc weapons through buying normal packs
i don't think we've emphasized this enough
Get 88,000 points in a single match.
Only receive 14,000 credits.
Stop playing Bronze matches?
Also 88k points isn't spectacular just play more aggresively.
it's the same if you saved her in me1
Holy fuck, playing Silver matches nets you so much insane amounts of credits you can splurge like a crazy man.

OK, I understand now. I think there was some confusion where people were saying they had gotten the tempest or whatever, probably due to the Operation Goliath thing though.
It isn't the same queen, you know.
I think it might actually be, but don't quote me on that.
Holy fuck, playing Silver matches nets you so much insane amounts of credits you can splurge like a crazy man.
Atleast beating wave 6 on Gold, gets you the same amount of credits of beating a silver game
I'm not sure why I can't just, HAVE my N7 Warfare set in Multiplayer.
Holy fuck, playing Silver matches nets you so much insane amounts of credits you can splurge like a crazy man.
I think Gold gives you like 50k or 60k credits per match? I don't know I haven't been brave enough to try them yet :/
Holy fuck, playing Silver matches nets you so much insane amounts of credits you can splurge like a crazy man.
wait till you can afford Gold matches on a regular basis
it's like I never need credits ever again
Atleast beating wave 6 on Gold, gets you the same amount of credits of beating a silver game
yes but Gold is pretty fucking hard unless you and your team are levelled up properly
