The demo was pretty ADHD. Especially Earth. I hope the full version is more paced. Also the dialogue was little bit more "action" than I'd hoped.
I seriously enjoyed the MP part of the ME3 demo so freaking much and the SP removed any doubts I had. I will most likely buy it.
Bit nitpicky there.
The demo doesn't accurately depict how wet vancouver is 0/10 stars

Anyone in Australia who would like to join my friend and I, please add Nibwoddle on Origin, we are SICK OF WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO JOIN.
Well apparently quite a lot of the dialouge choices etc were cut because there is a size limit for demos on xbox live.
isn't that why they also cut holstering your weapon? Not that I'm complaining but I remember a handful of people freaking out about that in here
Wasn't the holstering/unholstering because of x360 memory limitations ? Also, i'm glad that they cut those stupid lens flares out of ME2 and ME3, in ME1 shit looks like J.J Abrams was involved with the project. i like those though :(
Playing as an Adept on MP is hard at first but using the right biotics for the right enemies really pays off.
well damn, theres that thing were you get a free BF3 with your preorder of ME3, and I really want both games, but I still cant afford a preorder =(
Huh. From the looks of things, the Alliance tribunal was held somewhere near Robson Street. Well, with the HMV closing down, I suppose they had to fill the space with something.
I don't quite understand the perspective, in that vid is shepard looking out at Georgia and Burrard street, with North Van across the water?

All those fancy new roll and melee animations need space and so do the aural occlusion files. To get a good feel for how bad things got, order Liara and Garrus back out of the varren hall during the "ambush" and see how they draw weapons and run. Pretty bad. Ashley in particular shows how much they cut the facial ranges. Check her speech there and contrast it with Virmire or her poetry dialog. Pretty big difference. Cannibals are also pretty badly animated except for their nom attack and movement animations. Lens flare didn't go anywhere. Check the second Reaper that drops in the bay.
I don't quite understand the perspective, in that vid is shepard looking out at Georgia and Burrard street, with North Van across the water?
I was working everything else based on Canada Place, since from what I can see, it's the only visible landmark. Pretty hard to gauge how far away it is, since the Coal Harbour isn't there any more apparently. I ended up figuring that it was somewhere near Robson, with Shepard & Anderson heading north towards where Coal Harbour used to be. I think that might even be the spaceport, I'd need to replay the demo.
I have an instant crash when launching the ME3 demo, and Origin just tell me I don't have any corrupted files Any fixes ?
I have an instant crash when launching the ME3 demo, and Origin just tell me I don't have any corrupted files Any fixes ?
Reinstall?
Time for a clean playthrough of ME1 and ME2. No character importing this time. I'm gonna remake my old one of course, but this time without the scary cheeks. It's really stupid you can't edit your ME1 face in ME2 though, I'd want to change to a hairstyle that's not present in ME1.
Just played through the demo. Didn't like earth that much, but the salarian home world was fun. Combat feels much better but I ended up rolling around on objectives. Other than that it was smooth. Like the new ability trees as well. Anyway, if anyone got a spare BF3 code for preordering ME3, PM me please <3
Sorry if I'm late to the party, but is the demo Origin exclusive?
Sorry if I'm late to the party, but is the demo Origin exclusive?
Yep it is
Reinstall?
Just tried, didn't really work. Oh well
Yep it is
[del]I can't find it on Origin though..[/del] Nevermind, found it
Origin: MacArthurFIN Add me if you want to have a krogan in your Bro-Op squad, running around in pink armor and headbutting everyone and everything on sight.
I don't care what anyone says. I thought this was gonna flop hard but then I played the demo and had goosebumps all the time Mass Effect was always my favorite game. I was 15 when I played it on a laptop that barely ran it at 20fps. But I soldiered through. This is going to be the best game I ever played, no doubts
Anyone wanna coop squad in an hour or so? We have 1 person so far [sp]me ;_;[/sp]

So i played trough ME1 and ME2 in like 5 days including all DLCs in preparation for ME3. I wanted to keep everyone alive at the end of ME2 but sadly garrus died. Is it true that his voice actor is not the same in ME3?
He sounds the same, his actor has kept up to date with voice work on his Facebook, so no.
Finally managed to complete Bronze challange. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Do6rV.jpg[/t]
