In my eyes, all galactic civilisation being wiped out, would have been better than that fucking [sp]child appearing and effectively revealing itself to be THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE[/sp]
no
damn. i had the " send gameplay feedback to bioware" turned off so i guess I'm screwed. so many silver rounds with reapers just for nothing
In my eyes, all galactic civilisation being wiped out, would have been better than that fucking [sp]child appearing and effectively revealing itself to be THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE[/sp]
it wasn't actually a child you dope, [sp]whatever Shepard was speaking to probably some sort of VI or integrated consciousness most likely used that image because it represented what Sheppard wanted to protect, and similarly how whatever it was wanted to preserve the cycle [/sp]
So going through BSN once again and found this picture of Liara. Why aren't there more of these?

Sometimes I really don't understand these games. I was having a chat with Grunt and he was talking about how much he hates Turians and wants to kill them. So I respond with "don't start anything with Garrus" and I get Renegade points for that. How is saying something intelligent being bad?
In my eyes, all galactic civilisation being wiped out, would have been better than that fucking [sp]child appearing and effectively revealing itself to be THE LORD OF THE UNIVERSE[/sp]
[sp]he's not a child, and I'm actually surprised so many people don't understand the concept he's portraying, he takes the form of something important to Shepard, the child in general is a big metaphor. Though I don't really understand why the kid is more important than any of his squadmates who have died but whatever, that's a metaphor for you.[/sp]
Was still a really dumb plot contrivance. [sp]Making it be like Vigil, a floaty VI interface, rather than a child would remove the need to explain why the hell it was like that kid Shepard knew.[sp] I mean it would be a lot easier than having to explain [sp]why the fuck the VI is apparently able to realise that the kid had a huge emotional impact on Shepard, or that Shepard is projecting his own psyche onto the VI, or some bullshit.[/sp] [editline]25th March 2012[/editline] In which case, [sp]how the fuck does it know that the child is of importance to Shepard?[/sp]
I messed up the SP tags, I fixed it, if you feel it'd be important enough to go back and fix it in the quote then go ahead. [sp]That's a point towards the indoctrination theory I think, the reapers...well...made the kid, they MADE him important to Shepard...If you were to argue "he can read your mind and see your deepest fears!" then just to that I ask, if he can do that then why didn't the Catalyst mention EDI along with the death of the Geth in the destroy option?[/sp]
Also, in ME2, does anything unique happen if you bring Legion to the Flotilla on Tali's loyalty mission?
Sometimes I really don't understand these games. I was having a chat with Grunt and he was talking about how much he hates Turians and wants to kill them. Dragon Age Origins did a much better job with this, wherein each character has their own defined set of morals and you get points accordingly. [editline]25th March 2012[/editline]
Also, in ME2, does anything unique happen if you bring Legion to the Flotilla on Tali's loyalty mission?
You get a few minor dialogue additions, but for the most part the quarians tend to ignore its existence. A bit odd, really.
I got a Krogan Sentinel this morning. Best. Class. Ever.
"Yeah I just headbutted a Geth Prime to death whats up." I've been doing that with my Soldier Krogan. But I'm going to guess that the Sentinel one can soak up more damage?

That's brilliant
Was still a really dumb plot contrivance. It was a child because it was a fairly significant memory and he had two dreams about it as well. It also probably understood Sheperd's desire to protect those that cannot protect themselves and used an image accordingly, best impact. [/sp] [editline]25th March 2012[/editline]
"Yeah I just headbutted a Geth Prime to death whats up." I've been doing that with my Soldier Krogan. But I'm going to guess that the Sentinel one can soak up more damage?
wait, they're melee attack is a headbutt? Seriously? I know they have a thick head plate, but that's kind of stupid. Just smack their heads into things and looking like a duck pecking at the ground.
Also, in ME2, does anything unique happen if you bring Legion to the Flotilla on Tali's loyalty mission?
You get a shit ton of guns pointed in your face because you have a Geth with you. You can talk them down though if you've got a high enough reputation or whatever.

Ayo did y'all figure out that Shepard is indoctrinated yet or you still waiting for Bioware to confirm it?
More like:
Bitch please. Virmire is a classic.
I've also realized how much I love Sentinel. The Tech armor is incredibly useful, and really handy for an instant shield boost when your shields get down in the middle of a firefight. Also the explosion when it gets destroyed is useful in close combat. Overall very helpful.
They're built to last man, APEX PREDATOR KILLING MACHINES MOTHAFUCKA!
like ducks pecking the ground looking for worms....
Yeah, but a nuke on a pretty empty planet sort of pales in comparison to [sp]potentially incinerating all life in the galaxy (which is what happens if you have too low an EMS score)[/sp]
Imma say that's small time in comparison to getting rid of Ashely.
Imma say that's small time in comparison to getting rid of Ashely.
Ashley's such an L she shouldn't be allowed to go outside un-escorted yo. How can one bitch be so bad at everything yo?
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/gPvxa.jpg[/thumb] Javik is a bro.
That's...uh... rather amazing.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/gPvxa.jpg[/thumb] Javik is a bro.
The Garrus ones are hilarious. One of the lines actually makes me curious; what does Javik wear when a mask is required?
