Here's some interesting stuff. Like I said, Casey Hudson was the guy who actually came up with Mass Effect and imagined the game as a trilogy. Here is his first pitch document that later became Mass Effect 1. And the 2nd one is the first plot storyline for Mass Effect 1. that would have been neat
First time I played I said "Alrighty, I'll just do the Virmire mission then get Wrex's family armor." Ashley shot him, I tried to load the game but I saved over the save just before Virmire. I'm sorry Wrex. Wreav is such an asshole...
You mean you didn't have multiple save slots? God have mercy... A single playthrough of Mass Effect 1 will easily net me 30-40 separate saves (usually every half hour to 45 minutes), and Mass Effect 2...I max out the 55 save limit.

But I never had one that was before a mission... It beat the purpose of multiple saves.

In the first one I'm on Save 76 atm. 2nd one I think I'm at around Save 95 and on the 3rd one I'm at Save 126.
I had four saves. But I never had one that was before a mission... It beat the purpose of multiple saves.
...I'm confused. Two reasons to have a separate save before every single mission & interlude: 1) If you want to revisit a very specific part of the game 2) If the game glitches or you fuck up, you're never sent too far back. With the number of save slots I use, I'm usually no more than an hour away from a "safe" redo.
I just save after every fight in the same slot after the Noveria Incident

So, on Virmire, I had four saves on one mission. It was a stupid thing to do.

After I was freed from the horrible time vortex, I bought the game for xbox and never looked back

Barring a couple badly optimized parts of the Presidium, Mass Effect is one hell of a smooth experience on my computer.

why
It was F6 by default for me?
Oh right. F6 for ME1, F5 for ME2 and ME3. Still throws me off, like when I go back to ME1 and press "R" expecting my gun to reload and instead I toss a grenade.
why
Can we please grow past this and judge the show on its merits rather than the fact that someone from Japan made it?
Can we please grow past this and judge the show on its merits rather than the fact that someone from Japan made it?
It's not because Japan made it, it's because if the Halo anime films are of any indication, the canon and characters will be butchered so bad that you won't ever want to hear from them again.
why
oh my god this is this is the worst thing THE WORST THING
Can we please grow past this and judge the show on its merits rather than the fact that someone from Japan made it?
if you think that's the problem then you're completely disconnected from reality
Well, it's not like it's bound to be bad just for the one similarity of being an animation made in Japan.
It's being made by the same studio.
if you think that's the problem then you're completely disconnected from reality
Big insults towards a guy who doesn't hate on an anime intrinsically Very logical of you
why
I fail to see any issue with this whatsoever. The visual style is anime; so what? I'm not an anime fan by any means, but it doesn't put me off. Any people who have issues with Vega really need to let it go; his dialogue and personality are just as well written as any other character in ME3.
Anyone else like the M8 Avenger? I love it.
Big insults towards a guy who doesn't hate on an anime intrinsically Very logical of you
one of my favorite movies of all time is Akira don't you even start pulling the fucking gaijin bias card on me motherfucker a fucking cartoon shat out by I.G. based on Slab Brickmeat and your first inclination as to why people are horrified is that it's Japanese. Maybe you need to rethink your own biases.

I'm not saying it's gonna be terrible just because it's anime. I don't mind it at all. I'm saying it's going to be terrible because it's being made by the same people who made terrible anime adaptations of the Halo universe, completely destroying established canon. And Vega is a cool character, I don't have any issues with him. If it were being made by a good studio, great, but it isn't.

I hope you realize how hard it is not to say something.
