Truly for PC? Well shit, guess I sign up with a faked account just to get a code.
You need to sign into your EA account, you don't get a code, it just grants you access to the MP.
I must be the only one who didn't mind the demo nor really noticed the awkward animations.
:v:
I mainly just noticed Anderson's animations, probably because I thought they'd have been fixed since last year.
Holy shit I have to finishe the demo a second time now on my origin alt account! Now I have 4 accounts just to get early access, but it's a matter of minutes now. Biowares facebook & origin buttplug is nasty.
Score! My "friend" didn't even have to play more than a minute.
All this in like 10 minutes.
Have fun in the MP
Please help, I need a friend on Facebook who I'd recruit.

Wait your "friend" needs to actually play the demo? I thought I just had to recruit them. It's not working for me.

Have you installed the app yet? If not PM me your FB and I'll add you temporarily.
I get that the consoles have restrictions, but, come on, you didn't have to remove that much for the PC version, and could have upscaled the textures at least.
The sheer notion of downsizing for the PC is objectively HERESY; if the console can't handle it, sure go ahead and downscale, but keep the PC version as superior and thus naturally prove that we are the master race. Don't DARE to try and play dirty by making the superior PC version seem as low quality as the versions on the geriatric consoles of yesteryear.
Also what do you gotta do to get access to MP in the demo?
Wait your "friend" needs to actually play the demo? I thought I just had to recruit them. It's not working for me.
To get early access your friend needs to link his/her Origin account with the app and to get those recruitment packs your friends need to complete demo.

Problem here is splitting costs money EA is not willing to spend, and time BW is not willing to spend, and 360 is still very much the lead platform for this game series, despite primary dev being on PC. The only version ever split was 1. They aren't going to spend that money in that way again, esp now that EA owns BW.

I can't tell if this was a joke or a serious opinion put inside a joke.
I don't know, as much as I love better graphics, do we really deserve it? You pay the same, if not less than a console-gamer, ( here in the US, 50-60USD). Why should you or I get better graphics? Its not a big ground-breaking thing, but I always found that sense of entitlement to be really funny.
Keep in mind, I'm not personally targeting you either, so don't take offense.
obviously the demo was skimmed of depth to appeal to the widest audience and make people who normally wouldn't, put down their halos and call of duties, and go rent/buy mass effect 3 since they see it as an action shooter now. Surely that can't have any negative effects for the final product.. right?
Yep. The demo didn't have any neutral conversations choices, and it looks like some points didn't have choices at all. Final product will be great.

We'll have to see I guess. Couldn't get any worse. Can it?

However, I own Battlefield 3, so even though it says I have to finish the demo, the MP is still unlocked for me, and I do not have to play the SP at all (I am the person on the bottom).

lol
Please keep that mentality so they have "HIGH RES TEXTURE PACKS" on release day for $15.
That's the main problem, isn't it? E-sodding-A. Surely they aren't so poor that they aren't willing to spend more money on something that's going to earn them many many millions back?
If I were a dev, i'd develop primarily for PC and ensure that the PC versions come out first, then considering porting to consoles (THAT'S RIGHT, porting TO consoles instead of porting FROM) if demand is high enough. I'd be a little more lenient and willing concerning the later generation of consoles when they scramble up closer to the summit of PC power, but my cynicism and contempt would return once they lag behind again.

Most games I see don't have "high res texture packs", either they come with it, or its a free thing.
Besides, like I said, You paid the same as the console gamer, why should you get better?
Sure, I love HD shit, but why do you or I deserve it?
Because I didn't buy 5 year old hardware that was 3 years old back then?
Sure, but what grounds of the game? I know you bought expensive fancy hardware, as have I with my gaming computer, but that's just the computer. What about the game?
You paid the same 50-60 as anyone else.

By your argument, is it unfair that PC players can use hotkeys or change display settings in a way that console gamers can't?
Just unlocked the claymore in MP. Using it with my Biotic/Shotgun only Vanguard Drell. Oh god so much damage...

When I buy a $60 game I expect the content to match the standards of the platform. It matches console standards but not PC standards.
By your argument, is it unfair that PC players can use hotkeys or change display settings in a way that console gamers can't?
Nah, that's different, that's just tailoring it to the game system (just using that as a catch-all term). But getting better content like graphics? Seems a bit like entitlement. We're not paying more, so why should we get better things?

Its debatable really, but I thought the game met PC Standards, Textures are a little muddy I suppose, but honestly I don't mind

How are you getting less? You get the same game, same graphics and everything. I'm just asking why you should get more, like better graphics.
I think everyone is equal, you paid the same, you get the same.

It looks worse than Mass Effect 2 in many areas. Sequels are supposed to be at least the same graphically, if not improved.

Except most PC gamers spend give or take £1000 on their system. If the game looked the same as it did on console what is the point in me buying a gaming PC.(Apart from all the other PC gaming benefits)
