Maybe I missed this, it's been a while since I played the ending...but why is the Conduit 2.0 even there...

As an excuse for the final battle to be on Earth, and to be cool.
Wow, just browsed through BSN again to see if there is anything new from Bioware, only to notice that I could not find a single user posting that had an account older than mine. And I've only ever posted 3 times.
All the loud mouth assholes that have given the ME-fans such bad press joined in 2012/late 2011 and only have me3 registered. I'm no extreme-Biodrone but frack me is there no one that had followed the series from the very beginning. I got mass effect 1 on November 23 2007 and have loved every moment for 5 years.
Are we seriously the only mass effect players on the entirety of the internet who aren't hyper-hypocritical morons with the emotional stability of a 5 year old?
Who cares. At least they're trying.
Or this was their genius plan all along. Which is a possibility because.. seriously..
"lots of speculation for everyone!"
sorry, there's no secret bioware master plan. the most they'll do is add some missing segments to the ending so it doesn't feel unfinished but they'll keep the current endings and everything

I really do have to wonder why, in that scene, Shepard didn't let Joker help him up. Was there ever any explanation for this?
As an excuse for the final battle to be on Earth, and to be cool.
Oh well that's...
Fuck it, I'm writing my own ending, with logic and hookers.

I think he got shot ?

Because he couldn't, brittle bones little bitch that he is. Probably running out of time before they go back into space too and Joker ain't got a helmet.

You do realize a lot of things that happen in ME3 are done for the sake of drama right?
I was listening to the ME2 soundtrack while doing my homework and it got to The End Run and Suicide Mission.
I felt like I was doing some really important work that was saving the world.

Drama =/= absence of logic.

I DIDN'T SAVE ENOUGH FRIENDS MY LIFE IS OVER
I think he got shot ?
Yea at about :10, you can see him recoil from the Collector's weapons (wait, why are they like bullets in this scene?), and because of that he falls down. For Joker, even standing takes effort, so after getting shot, there's no way he'd be able to save Shepard.
That, or Hackett shows up to save the day/rams Harbinger.
oh man
that would have been badass and sad
missed opportunity I guess

And peoplehave been complaining about a lot of those 2. Fucking Kai Leng and his plot effect fields.
Just got my final appearance for my Quarian infiltrator
Fucking Kai Leng and his plot effect fields.
Kai Leng in general was an extremely generic and cheap 'bad guy'.
Drama =/= absence of logic.
Well there are points where they sacrifice logic for more drama.

Hell, It would've made for a better character if Cerberus pulled another Project Lazarus and brought back a cybernetic Jenkins from ME1.
While I dislike Kai Leng, I think his intention was to show players what Shepard could have been had the Illusive Man not insisted on keeping Shepard as himself during the Lazarus Project.
Kai Leng was a prick, and it felt incredibly satisfying [sp]breaking his sword and stabbing him in the gut while baddassidly declaring it was for Thane[/sp]
He may have been generic but they did a really good job of making me hate his augmented guts

It was hilarious on Thessia because both me and Garrus had max overload so we took his shields down in 2 seconds everytime he was damageable. Then he sends an email saying "lol i owned you so hard you suck, kill yourself" like an angry xbox live message.

Having not read the book when Kai turned up in the game I remember saying out loud, "Really bioware? a ninja?". Having found out he's from the books I still feel like he was tacked on and unneeded, they just wanted to somehow link the book with the game. Much preferred [sp] morinth and jack turning up as reaper and cerberus puppets depending on your choices[/sp] even if bioware messed up there and gave the standard mook models instead of unique ones.
Hold the line!

Bioware should've pulled a Greyson with Kai Leng, aka install much more Reaper tech then Shepard had at the cost of much of Leng's sanity. Hell, maybe if they did that you could pull a Saren at the [sp]Cerberus Base.[/sp]

I killed [sp]Kai for Kirrahe[/sp].

My main problem with Kai Leng is that same I had with the bosses in HR. Unless you read the books you have no emotional attachment to this character and just find him a ridiculous annoyance. Even then, HR pulled it off better.
