I just completed Mass Effect 2 on my Mass Effect 1 save. Shit was great, I loved Mordin and Thane, they were really cool. I did not like the fact they added thermal clips that are also in ME3. But hey, I can live through that.
Now I'll just wait for ME3 GOTY edition or I'll just wait for the price drop.

Played couple gold matches today. Every single player were trying to do solo. Even on silver i feel that someone is watching your back, but not on gold. Well, mb only in these 2 matches, who knows..

salarians are badass
like you don't really meet any salarian in the series who knows how to hold a pistol and is a wuss
they're by far more advanced than the smurfettes or barbaric krogan
going with the salarian support is playing it safe in the long run- which is strange because that isn't renegade shepard

Helluva lot easier than dealing with the Krogen population surge with Wreav at the head.
As bad as I would feel for deceiving them like that, its really the safer bet unless you can get wrex and eve at the top.

But it is a real issue. The Yahg are much, much more dangerous than the Krogan. Salarians have a habit of fucking around with things they shouldn't.

the thing is though, I think it's pretty heavily implied that the Salarians often uplift powerful races to sort out their problems, then pull shit like the genophage when it inevitably goes wrong
I mean look at the Yahg, it's the exact same situation that made bringing in the Krogan necessary and they're just going to repeat it over and over again
