Requesting someone do the whole Deal with it thing on Javik. I cannot into animated gif.
Thinking of playing ME3 on insanity.
Not looking forward to that final combat scene.
I only survived because I literally said "Fuck this" and cloaked my way to the objective.
That was easy. I had Liara and Kaidan with me as an Adept.
Biotic explosions everywhere, banshees and brutes stood no chance.
In fact, I would go so far to say Kaidan + Liara with an Adept/Sentinel Shepard is the best combination in SP.

Did vanguard on insanity as my first playthrough - very rewarding.
Only problem is that I have nothing to aim for now.
But it is a real issue. The Yahg are much, much more dangerous than the Krogan. Salarians have a habit of fucking around with things they shouldn't.
And humans don't?
Has the new challenge started? I didn't get a popup when I logged into multiplayer like I did with the last.
Starting my third playthrough. And I still don't get why Shepard says he's evacuating those two soldiers...then abandons them on Earth...

Insanity is really easy IMO
And humans don't?
Most species seem to have that problem to some degree, but I'm going to trust BroWrex and Mordin long before I trust some dalatrass throwing a tantrum because she didn't get her way.
the dalatrass is a cunt

Wasn't arguing against that at all. Wrex won't fuck things up.

That just makes me wish we had class specific cut scenes. Imagine taking out a reaper by biotic charging it.
Insanity is really easy IMO
I agree, maybe it's because I played as sentinel and all my powers had short recharge times but the game was easy. The only hard part was at the end when all the banshees attacked but that's because I didn't bring Liara with me. If I had liara, we would have used warp+throw because that does a shit load of damage

Someone needs to draw the whole Garrus/FemShep adopting a Krogan thing. Talk about multicultural.
I just got Asari Adept and it kicks ass.
Is there anything better then that?
"Commander Shepard, a man with all the resources available to anyone in the universe, the greatest technology, the greatest minds and the greatest navies at his side, is powerless to overcome the inevitability of entropy."
Yes Yhatzee. That's such a great story! A story of hopelessness and destruction. They built you up, give you hope, have constant themes of galactic harmony, and then kill you and say 'haha, nice try but i told you it was inevitable!'. Fuck OFF you stupid cunt. That's not how storytelling goes. I mean it can, if you want to tell a story that pisses off your audience and alienates you from telling any stories in the future because nobody wants to hear your downer bullshit especially if you keep building up hope during it.
No, he fuckin doesn't. He needs a crew of writers to keep him in line. He forewent that for the ending and devastates the series. Both Yahtzee and Casey miss the point of their own series. He irreversibly disregarded everything built up so far. Was it worth ending a tale about survival against all odds and peace in the galaxy with 'inescapable destruction'? Was it worth everyone hating you for it? I wager not.
It's not rocket science. If you build up somebody's hopes, then tell them to get fucked, they're not going to be happy about it. And they probably won't listen to you ever again.
[editline]31st March 2012[/editline]
The reapers are an enemy you fight throughout the whole series. You want to defeat them. After 3 games of fighting them, they decimate you, and you die. Everyone dies. What's the fucking point? What's the message in that? 'Resistance IS futile, hope is an illusion'? What a horrendous message, if that's the point. But from playing the games, everything leading to the ending told me the opposite. It told me the impossible is possible. It's said that fighting the reapers is a losing battle, but you just know Shepard is going to overcome the odds and kick ass. And that's the whole point, because you're Shepard. That's the satisfaction you get, saving the whole galaxy. Yeah, you can fail. If you die. Then you can try again, until you get it right. Having death and destruction being the canonical ending is such a huge smack to the face. I wouldn't even mind if Shep died as long as everyone else was saved, but you don't even get that satisfaction. Casey Hudson can eat a dick for thinking this was a logical, or any way good ending to this series. What a fucking moron.
LMAOOO FEELINGS HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY CAUGHT. I can see now why y'all aren't accepting the indoctrination theory it's cause you can't handle it emotionally. You guys really would have preferred a generic star wars ending cause sad endings are "not the way storytelling works"? LOL y'all are literally the most sensitive people in the world have you ever watched a film with a sad ending?
I just got Asari Adept and it kicks ass.

Not that much imo
LOL y'all are literally the most sensitive people in the world have you ever watched a film with a sad ending?
I wouldn't mind a sad ending at all.
If it was one of many.
And I got to know what the fuck happened to everyone.
The whole series is based around choices, leading up to the final moment, and you get... what - one single ending no matter what you do?
And it's not that it's sad, it's that it offers no closure. Also introduces more plot holes then the entire rest of the series combined. And it's not like a two hour movie, people have invested 100+ hours in making a game version of 'them'. It's a bit of a kick in the rear.

Instead of just "Deal with it" it needs to be "Deal with it, primitive."

Dang. Well, guess once I have a level 20 Asari adept there's really not a whole lot to look forward to unlocking. Well, what are the best weapons anyway?

Yea but that's not what that guy with all the sons dickriding him was saying, son was literally screaming cause he couldn't handle the sad ending, he wanted the ending to be the most generic predictable ending in the world cause he needs bioware to reassure him that overcoming the impossible is possible. Lol smh so hard, how unstable of a person do you have to be. Why play a game or experience any piece of art if you just want it to come packaged with the most generic predictable ending, you're not getting shit out of it. Obviously the dude was right about the stanbase being idiots yo and they're clearly emotionally stunted.
Also you mention plot holes but those are all explained by the indoctrination theory son...
Completed ME3

Fuck them
Just completed ME3. Cried at how bad the ending was.
Although I did like the stargazing bit after the credits... but wow, I feel liked I wasted my time playing this game for that.

You and me both buddy, the thing that annoys me the most is the plot holes everywhere and the endings not being so different.
Also you mention plot holes but those are all explained by the indoctrination theory son...
Please show me where Bioware says the Indoctrination Theory is canon.
Your entire argument essentially amounts to "no the game is good because this fan fiction i read explained everything and had a great ending!!!!!!!!!!!!"
