So does this remind anyone of the 'start' menu of ME2?
Looks like Warhammer 40k to me, reminds me of a debate me and my friend had: What enemy is worse, Chaos or the Reapers?
Looks like Warhammer 40k to me, reminds me of a debate me and my friend had: What enemy is worse, Chaos or the Reapers?
Chaos because the Reapers can be stopped. [editline]30th March 2012[/editline] Also yeah, I'm getting some Space Hulk vibes from that image as well.
Then allow me to educate you. In ME1 there was a team of writers, but Drew Karpshyn was the lead, hence why it was so fucking good, because he had also written the original Knights Of The Old Republic game. He wasn't around for ME2 I believe, and that may have been when Mac Walters took over, but it still had a big writing team. In ME3 the writing team contributed all the way up until the ending. The ending was written by Mac Walters and that other guy in one afternoon behind closed doors without consulting the rest of the writing team. The other writers didn't even know what the ending was before it was revealed to them. Like, it was a really bad way to go about it, rest assured.
Are you really using that fake gamefaqs write-up as fact for why ME3's ending was so disappointing?
Holy shit, I just checked what happens when you only have the Geth when the fleets are reporting. You see the Geth fleet in the same manner as the Quarian, but you also get a Geth platform saying some cool lines which are completely skipped over if you have both the Geth and Quarians.
So does this remind anyone of the 'start' menu of ME2? Then again it can be "stopped" if the only species alive were the Necrons or something that wouldn't go to war or crave for excess or whatever.
holy shit its a fucking game theres literally no need to analyse every. fucking. bit of it bioware made some plotholes and all you are doing is literally forcing them down one fucking path you retard(!)
Lol, you are ridiculous you know that? Not supposed to analyze? People analyze works of art all the time, maybe if you took English class you'd understand that, everyone analyzes works to find the metaphorical meaning behind everything, the deeper meaning, that's the fucking point of being a human, to look deeper than the upfront, if you cannot understand that, or appreciate that...then...I'm so sorry.
Is there any proof that the ending was written only by Casey Hudson and Mac Walters? Or is it just rumors.
According to a design document and a post by Casey Hudson on Penny Arcade, it's what happened. I mean, I can't say for 100% sure that it happened because I wasn't there, but all evidence says that's what happened. [editline]30th March 2012[/editline]
Are you really using that fake gamefaqs write-up as fact for why ME3's ending was so disappointing?
I didn't actually know there was a fake gamefaqs write-up. So, no. I'm basing it off the fact that it was badly written by two bad writers.

You don't think that after the big emphasis on both indoctrination as a main weapon of the reapers, wherein all 3 games are literally about indoctrinated enemies, and its stressed that indoctrination is the worst thing ever...you don't think that after all that time, they would think that maybe it makes sense that Shepard, with his, Liara stressed "remarkably strong will", is finally broken down? Don't you find it a little odd the emphasis on the child, immediately after Shep gets knocked out by Object Rho or whatever, don't you find it odd that ME3 is the first one with an emphasis on dreams with "oily figures" (mentioned by the fucking Rachni as a symptom of indoctrination), all this...and you refuse?
But... Why?
Because speculation! that's why? You mean you aren't speculating? Get down on your knees and start SPECULATING you muthar fukarrrrr!

You are simply joking at this point, I presume.

What's stupid is.. that guy.. at the end of some reason just ran out of the circle at the last second. Don't know why. Also, people have got to learn how to grabkill.. and not mess up a teammates grabkill.
[sp]Please god someone explain how Shepard could possibly live in the perfect ending, because honestly, there isn't a possible way in any circumstance, both his body has been rid of what his body's functions have been dependent on, and he fell to the surface of a planet (something that he only survived once before (and barely at that) because he had a helmet) without a helmet...there is simply no way they could conceivably think that makes any sense, some people could give Bioware too much credit, but you are giving them too LITTLE credit. Either way, him being alive is definitely a hint at more coming along after the ending, so uh, yeah.[/sp]
Their careers are to be writers, professional writers, they are not bad by any stretch of the imagination. You are simply joking at this point, I presume.
So by your logic everyone who has made a buck off of something they wrote is a good writer. If you're seriously suggesting that just because they're employed that means they're good, you really haven't read many books, seen many movies, or played many video games.

Let's say the theory is true. Now we have a game with no ending. Good job.
Okay. Let's say the theory is true. Now we have a game with no ending. Good job.
Oh well? As long as its free then it was a pretty fucking fun ride through all the controversy...I don't see a problem.
Oh well? As long as its free then it was a pretty fucking fun ride through all the controversy...I don't see a problem.
You don't see a problem with buying a game that has no ending because the writers were lazy. Wow.
Just trying to fucking hit Phantoms is hard enough, let alone aiming for a specific part of them, and let alone aiming for a tiny thin strip of metal that they hold behind themselves.
Woho stasis. Best thing ever, flash-freeze them in their tracks and fuck them up.

Well, i've been trying out the Vanguard in MP recently, and I can safely say it feels NUCLEAR; just makes me feel like "I will DESTROY YOU!". However, I favour the Charge over the Nova any day. It's like "do I choose a forward charge that slams me into people and restores my Barrier, or do I choose a radial burst that drains my Barrier?" I much prefer to keep my Barriers high in case of enemies, and i'm definitely gonna invest in more health-and-barrier, since being a glass cannon has it's risks. I also played in a Silver match recently; it was pretty intense. We all died near the end of Wave 10, because Banshees are EVIL, but I nonetheless got plenty of Credits, enough to buy a Spectre pack. Sadly I suspect the Spectre Pack wasn't worth it, since the best it gave me was an upgrade to the Revenant, which I never use since it's pretty heavy, and currently I roll with a maxed-out Katana shotgun and plenty of space to ensure rapid recharge of my powers. To be fair I only really need my Katana at the moment, and the other shotties (Scimitar and Eviscerator) aren't sufficiently upgraded for me to pop weasels like I do with Mr Katana. Also, I do say I somehow didn't expect that rendition of EDI so soon. But at least she isn't showing her "circuit board", instead with the (marginally) more acceptable cameltoe being present.
Just trying to fucking hit Phantoms is hard enough, let alone aiming for a specific part of them, and let alone aiming for a tiny thin strip of metal that they hold behind themselves.
Stasis with Carnifex. Every round on Silver I kill on average 3 Phantoms with 3 shots to the head
I find human vanguards really irritating, they're always charging the enemy I'm aiming at

Anyone else prefers the common version of the Widow sniper rifle?
stay classy deviantart
I'm actually going to blame Bioware's character design department for this one, and not Deviantart.
