How fun. I'm the last one alive because my team is nowhere near the Area Hack objective. I kill every enemy but one.
And surprise it's a glitched invisible enemy and I can't shoot them, so I die.
Woo.

Is it bad that i saw shepard had one eyebrow raised and instantly knew that harry made this?
They always do :v:
They usually look relatively smooth. Sometimes they're a bit stiff, but still smooth. But a lot of the new animations in ME3 look really cheap. The good ones are the ones that were reused, and even then, they sometimes look out of place.
It's a real shame that technical issues have to ruin moments like that. Like when you hand the rock to Tali on Rannoch, it disappeared in Shepard's hand. So basically, he was giving her an imaginary rock. He might as well have been saying "lol your home world doesn't exist anymore, deal with it".

In every single game I've seen animations where, for example, shepard suddenly clips off the screen then reappears a few seconds later.
I've also had one moment where Garrus was moonwalking in the background during a conversation.
Anyone fancy buying ME3 again? from amazon?
Well you can't:

Am I the only one who's not as raging about the endings than everyone else?
I just finished the game, the entire London mission, the race to the [sp]Conduit v2[/sp] had me so damn engaged, and when the final [sp]Deus Ex style choose-a-colour ending came up, I didn't know what to think. Everything that happened, everything and everyone that I've saved and lost didn't matter, but I was still okay. Sure the endings was terribad and all, and traditional endings would've worked better, but the journey to the end was so amazing it didn't matter to me. The conversations in London and Anderson death had me crying inside. [/sp]
I think I would have been more annoyed if they'd gone for a bog-standard generic "It all ends happily ever after" ending.

Most people agree that the journey is phenomenally good, but the ending is so unspeakably, shockingly awful that it sours the entire experience. Quite frankly, I feel the same way. Mass Effect 3 was within an inch of wrapping up one of the greatest trilogies we have ever seen...and then they give us the worst ending of any narrative I have ever experienced in my life.
It's just...quite frankly, I just don't think any of us understand how they possibly messed it up that badly.

Have you played the other 2 and been just as invested in them?
If the answer is yes, we are just emotionally fragile individuals.

At least an ending like that would have made sense and wouldn't have destroyed everything we knew about the series.
As I've said a few times, look at the Lord of the Rings. Ending is as generic and "happily ever after" as you can get, and it's one of the greatest endings of ANY narrative. Why? Because it fit, and it provided closure to absolutely everything.

That has nothing to do with the quality of the animation. The animations themselves are usually good. Unfortunately, technical issues and reuse of animations on different models cause problems like clipping and random teleporting.

That sucks.
Can you reset Shepard's skill points so I can reassign them in Mass Effect 2? I just got Mordin.
---1st April joke---

I believe there is yes, I cant remember but there should be in the upgrade menu at mordins lab.

You know Blastu DLC would probably make me happy.

Let's just say I restarted Rannoch 3 times (loading a save an hour before the mission) before I realised one of the requirements for [sp]saving Tali/peace between the Quarian and the Geth was to not have her exiled in 2. I had to witness the deaths of Legion, and Tali and the Quarian people 3 times. Felt bad man :([/sp]

I think people are looking at the rest of Mass Effect 3 through rose tinted glasses.
It was incredibly linear with almost no replay value, unless you're importing an entirely new Shepard from 1 and 2, and they basically railroaded you into being 100% Paragon or 100% Renegade with no real gray area in between. It also relied way to heavily on set pieces rather than good writing, and the fact that they expected you to do all the DLC in 2 for the plot to even make sense bugged the shit out of me.
It was fun and great and all, but I would say it was definitely the weakest of the three games, even disregarding the ending.

Tech lab should have an option to reset your powers under the Prototypes tab if I remember right. Can't remember if it's available straight away when you get Mordin or if you had to do something first though.

I think a pyyrhic victory ending would've been the best. If your galactic readiness met the requirements ofcourse.
Oh wow, this is the best day in ME3 for me.
I got 2 M-99 Saber. Also named my Asari Adept - Biotic God and Male Infiltrator - Adam Jensen :D
Got this one, dont know is it good:

I'm guessing it was all in Shepard's head.

And I think it was the best because of all the brilliant scenes you get in it. Hell I don't think I've ever seen a space battle in the ME series until ME3, then you get like 5 of them.
Besides, the games have always been linear. I mean the most divergence you get is "Oh I can do this level first or I can do this one first instead". It's always been that way, right back to Feros/Noveria/Tau Cluster.
ME1/2 had no replay value for me either, I've only ever played with the one shepard. The only real differences you can do is between being paragon or renegade, and even then you basically have to choose one and stick with it because being neutral is just fucking yourself up the ass. At least in ME3 they made them both based off the same "Reputation" counter so you could swing back and forth a bit.

Sadly that's just a bug.
