I completely upgraded the Normandy already.
I can reload a save to try to paragon my way into re-earning jacks loyalty
Will have to deal with ship mates dying. Im not reloading that far back.
I have no idea for the end squad decisions. Theres a lot, but it is possible to get everyone to live.
All squad members loyal, all ship upgrades, and you immediately go to the Collector Base as soon as you possibly can. The last bit is up to you.
Also, use Garrus to lead the second team, Jack or Samara to make the biotic bubble, and mordin to lead the unliquified crew to safety.
I've seen that, and it's depressing. This Great Krogan warrior just running around pecking at enemies like a duck hunting for worms. He bellows "FOR TUCHANKA!" every chance he gets, and is suddenly silenced as a banshee picks him up. He scrunches up pathetically like a pill bug, and then falls silently to the ground.

Let Garrus lead the distraction team too and I used Kasumi to escort the crew and everything was dandy.
The thing that annoys me the most in ME2. Shepard can't keep his freakin' head STRAIGHT. He's always looking around and twisting it and looking like a retard on crack.

Has anyone -ever- seen anyone in the life support area? I know all the other areas get visited sporadically, but I've never even seen Javik in there.
Oh, and apparently there's a Ken/Gabby romance that's bugged unless Ashley is alive and frequently talked to. Da fuk?

There is a good bit of Ken/Gabby dialog throughout the game.
However, it is bugged if Kaidan is alive and not Ashley and none of it happens if that is the case.
And I am betting Life Support/Jack's old hidey hole will be DLC character locations.

If you're trying to play some kind of fucking god damn april fool on me right now, you are sick.
fucking youtube it.
Hmm, I can't for the life of me get the initiative to play through it again. I beat it with everything done "Right", unified the races, cured the Genophage etc. The game really doesn't change with different options other than if I purposely tried to do as worse as humanly possible. I easily cleared the game with way more war assets than I needed without even trying. The only thing I could do differently is if I saved Miranda, that's really it.

He isn't lying. Bioware confirmed that the dialog is tied to being friendly with Ash which is a bug, and is most likely never going to be patched.

Yeah, just did a quick Google & found the BioSocial post on it.
Jack's hidey hole actually gets used a few times: By Javik, Ken & Gabby, and the space hamster. It's just life support that never seems to see any activity.
To my great sadness and embarrassment, it looks like there is a bug here that got introduced just before ship. It looks like the test for "is it time for ambient dialog in engineering" accidentally got switched to "are you good friends with Ashley". How did this bug happen? I have no idea, and need to do some detective work. This doesn't just block Ken and Gabby banter, but I think this blocks some Tali and Garrus banter in engineering too. As it stands now to see that banter, I believe you'll need to get Ashley in your party and take her on missions and/or give Ashley lots of attention by speaking to her and giving her the gift in the hospital. If you have Kaidan in your game, obviously this can't be done, and that sucks.
Though the fix is easy, the difficult part is getting the fix into a patch of some sort. Getting content fixes into patches is much harder than you'd think. It's a giant process. I'll try to get that fix through, but sadly, the odds of getting this type of fix into a patch is very low. It just kills me that so many of the people who care about Ken and Gabby (those of you reading this forum) didn't get to see that content. I tested the heck out of it too for weeks before ship. You just don't now how sorry I am.
Essentially, -all- of Ken/Gabby/Adams' banter is bugged-out unless Ashley is alive & friendly. As is Garrus' visits to Tali in Engineering.
Follow-up statement.
I’ve heard a couple people ask that if a fix is easy, why would a patch be difficult? That’s a very good question. Here are a few reasons why.
1. Fixing a bug could accidentally introduce worse bugs.
The Gabby/Ken bug is a great example of this. It turns out that just before ship QA found a bug where an Ashley dialog on the Citadel could get stuck under certain import/game mode situations. The person who fixed that bug unknowing introduced the Gabby/Ken bug, and this was after Gabby/Ken had been tested. The Ashley fix was tested on the Citadel, but of course the whole game of 30+ hours with many import and choice variations can’t be retested for every small change. That portion of the Normandy wasn’t retested because we believed it hadn’t been changed and was solid.
2. There can be technical issues.
In this case, the bug was introduced in a tool we call Story Manager. As of today, changes in Story Manager content can’t really be put into a patch due to some technical limitations. Our programmers are fixing those limitations, but until that work is actually successful, we can’t be 100% sure that Story Manager fixes can happen.
3. Content fixes in DLC bloat downloads.
Sometimes we can do fixes in the content instead of the code. However, this adds to the size of download on your disk, and due to how the content is structured, you don’t just get the fix. You get a copy of a bunch of other stuff, so depending on the situation, the amount added could be large.
4. The people who notice the fix may be so small as to not offset the risks and costs of a fix.
For example with the Ken/Gabby bug, the only people who notice that bug are those that imported a save game from ME2 where Ken and Gabby survived the Collector base, and they care enough about Ken and Gabby to recruit them again and go down and visit them in engineering. Though I’d like to believe that is a huge number of people, truthfully it’s probably a small fraction of the players. As with everything in life, our resources aren’t infinite, so we need to make judgment calls of were to apply our QA and development efforts.
I’m in no way saying that the Ken/Gabby bug won’t be fixed. Actually, I’m more encouraged than ever that the fix will get put into a future patch or DLC. We just can’t make any promises. I just wanted to shed some light on why knowing about a fix isn’t the same as being able to deliver a fix. I know that any answer that isn’t “We will fix 100% of the known bugs” will make some people angry, and I apologize for that. If we followed that, it would be impossible for us to make a large, rich game for you. I can say that everyone on our team cares deeply about the quality of experience we are providing to you. We do try our best.
Those bugs got nothing on the one where Tali can show up in your cabin for some lovin' even if she's dead.
That scared the HELL out of me.
I thought it'd be a nightmare where she turns into a Banshee and screams into your face. :c
The fuck.. promoting resets names and colors as well?.. that's a pain in the ass to rename and recolor everyone..
Promoting should give you credits or some (special) reward.. and I did all I could. I'll try to get one more by tomorrow.
The process of promoting characters is, in a way, a reward within itself.
Albeit not a very... good reward compared to farming gold with a good character but whatever.
Yeah, I don't quite understand why you'd promote, you get next to no war assets, lose all your level, and get only a tiny boost of your N7 rating. Which is meaningless.

Think that's related to a glitch, where Shepard is trying to look at something through the deckplates.
But Yeah, I had twisty-head Shepard as well.

75 per squad isn't that bad at all.

It's what happens if the "conversation animation" doesn't finish and Shepard's head doesn't snap back into position.
For example, if you don't wait for Joker to fully turn around in his chair before you leave your head will get stuck trying to look at him.

No.. it should give us credits too or something..
+10 N7 rating and Military points is kind of lame.

But you really don't need it. If you've played enough MP to promote, you have 100% readiness, which allows you to have way more assets in SP than you need.

I guess Shepard really HATES it when people walk away from conversations.
Although that's pretty funny. Just say Joker's name and cloak yourself before he fully turns around. Then have EDI mess around with his chair.

wait, readiness gives more war assets by itself?

No, but it allows you to beat the game with over 1k more than you need to get the best ending. It means you don't have to do like half of the side quests.
