Bugger, looks like I'll be missing Beachhead.
In other news, it'd be cool if they released some MP DLC that let you play PVP, or as the enemy forces.
Maybe not let you pick classes as it is now, but make them wave/point based unlocks. For example, playing as Reapers you'd only get Husks/Cannibals for the first two waves, then Marauders wave 3-4, ravagers wave 6-7 and brutes/banshees in the final waves.
I don't know why, but I want co-op boss-fights.
wasnt there someone saying that the star gay space magic kid is lying and it only kills the reapers or something like that
and anyway the asari were close to making their own mass relays so civilization is only fucked until they fix/rebuild the mass relays
The problem is, the mass relays are two ends of a train. You can't just teleport to a system and then set up a relay, because there is no terminal to go to.
They'd have to build their own relays, then TOW them out to wherever they wanted the destination to be. That could take millenia.
I want actual co-op campaigns, complete with cinematics and stuff. Shit would be so cash.
[sp]it will never happen :([/sp]
There is something I have always wanted to be added to the multiplayer.
The ability to have two types of enemies at one time where they are duking it out against you and the other enemy.

I would love to see an Atlas fight a Banshee.

I would really like some PVP Multiplayer. But aside form calling them 'training simulations' I don't see how it would fit with the rest of the fiction.
Also, biotic powers would be OP as SHIT. Not to mention some tech powers, too. like overload. BOOP! No shields! Armor Piercing ammo! You're dead!
Also, playing as a wave of expendable enemies would be about as fun as drinking a glass of your own piss with frozen poop-cubes in it.
There was a reason valve never let you play as a regular infected in left 4 dead: You're entire playtime would consist of running at the enemy and getting one shotted.
Allowing player agency and self preservation for those types of enemies completely fucks up their background.
The only way you could get away with it are with Cerberus Troopers, and some Geth.
Actually, something I wish was in multiplayer that isn't really explained is why you can't shoot the pilot out of an Atlas. It would be an interesting strategy, and I don't think it would be too OP either.
I mean in killing the pilot, you would have already sacrificed the atlas's shields, and your character would be susceptible to direct fire. The atlas by itself is pretty slow and can't get to a lot of areas due to its size. Not to mention it would reduce the frequency of Atlases being insta killed by hydra rockets.
On the difficulties that matter (Silver and Gold) the benifiet of an Atlas would be temporary at best, as obviously you wouldn't be lumbering around the entire map with one. It would also be instrumental in keeping the group together, as any smart teammate would stick close enough to the Atlas to maximize its longevity.
I also don't think the chances of running with a full squad of atlases are very good due to their vulnerability and slow speed. Maybe to counter the massive firepower of an Atlas, kill with it would get like 1/2 XP, same as with the hydra.
What do you think?

Fuck that, how about an Atlas and a Brute? Would be awesome if they had their battle animations. Like if the brute wins, it knocks out the Atlas's legs, then jumps on top of it and starts smashing the fuck out of the cockpit. Then if the Atlas whens, it grabs the brute and fires it's main gun point blank into the Brutes cranium.

Personally, I don't think an Atlas would be able to stand up to either one in a one on one match. A brute moves much more fluidly and quickly than an Atlas. The only thing I can see in the Atlas's favor would be its layer of shields on top of its armor.
Of course it would probably win at range, but that would defeat the point of a victory animation. Also, anything can kill a Brute at range.
An Atlas would probably fare even worse against a Banchee. It's got a Biotic barrier + Armor and moves so quickly and erratically it's even difficult to target by regular troops. Hows an Atlas going to cope?
Mass Effect 2. Awesome looking game.

ME2 is really akin to The Empire Strikes Back:
Doesn't really close or resolve anything, leaves you with more questions than answers and it pretty much doesn't have an ending, but god it's good!.
[sp]I just wanted to know if using the Crucible destroys the Mass Relays why is there even an ending with the rest of the battles and such wouldn't the Sol Relay be destroyed, because last time I checked when a Mass Relay blows up it practically blows up an entire solar system[/sp]

Yeah, as you can see the writers didn't really think the ending through.

Maybe because we were being indoctrinated.

Well they weren't hit with an asteroid this time.

sorry i didnt realize asteroids were comprised of pixie dust
sorry i didnt realize asteroids were comprised of pixie dust
Well there is a difference between them shutting down and sending out a signal to do whatever and then self destruct and being hit by an asteroid while still active.
Well there is a difference between them shutting down and sending out a signal to do whatever and then self destruct and being hit by an asteroid while still active.
i wouldn't say "shut down" as much as I would say "homeboy blew right the fuck up."
i wouldn't say "shut down" as much as I would say "homeboy blew right the fuck up."
It sends a signal, then the rings stop spinning, then they explode.
Well there is a difference between them shutting down and sending out a signal to do whatever and then self destruct and being hit by an asteroid while still active.
Not a big difference obviously considering they still exploded.
Well there is a difference between them shutting down and sending out a signal to do whatever and then self destruct and being hit by an asteroid while still active.
Either way they blew up an asteroid has no difference at all. An asteroid caused one explosion the Crucible caused another. Same shit with a different cause.
At 2:00, the relay is preparing the signal, it sends the signal. It expends it's energy the rings stop spinning. Then they self destruct.

Ok, that's great. Everyone is still fucked though.

Well if Bioware can handwave Thermal Clips, I'm sure saying, "It was a different type of explosion." would be no problem.

Yes, but, according to Arrival and The Codex, when Mass Effect Relays explode they have enough force to take out an entire star system.
Yes, but, according to Arrival and The Codex, when Mass Effect Relays explode they have enough force to take out an entire star system.
But what I'm saying is it uses the same energy that it uses to send ships to other relays to send out whatever signal you choose. That energy is now gone, the same energy that caused the giant explosion in Arrival.
so wait, if you [sp]blow up the mass relays,[/sp] doesnt that mean that [sp]all the races wouldnt be able to interract with each other? (besides radios and the aliens that were already in certain solar systems)[/sp]
