Depends on what you're aiming for. If you want something like the Claymore then the Disciple is as far away from that as it can get. The disciple is light with low damage and several shots in the mag, the Claymore you know.
Anyways I tested the Falcon in a bronze game and it was meh, probably useless at higher difficulties. The AoE was nice and you could do some fun stuff with the bouncing grenade but the damage was pretty low and the rate of fire is terrible.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Few of my friends have figured out a good team: 2 infiltrators w/Widow, 1 Asari adept, and 1 interchangable (ideally sentinel or engineer).
Cerberus on Gold has never been so easy than with an Asari adept.
They will stat giving out the packs in 7 hours.

I use it on Bronze with the damage mod and extended thermal clip with characters that I've just promoted. It had its rate of fire severely reduced in one patch, which didn't fix the issue where you lose ammo and nothing comes out of the gun if you try to fire too quickly.
One of the few things still going for it is that it stuns most human-sized enemies with every shot (if they aren't already stunned), including Phantoms. If you time it right, you can stunlock and kill a Phantom and anything standing near them this way.

Also the Falcon seems broken, half the time it consumes ammo but doesn't fire anything.
Holy shit, I tried the Drell Adept but just auto leveled it and I sucked with it.
This time around I'm leveling one with decent skill setup and it's a god damned support powerhouse.
By myself, I can't do shit, but if there's anyone else with me, I can wreck havoc, especially if the other person has any biotic power.
Was rolling with this Vanguard in silver against Geth, I'd pull any unarmored/unshielded target and reave the rest, Pull and Reave both sets up for the Biotic Explosion so the vanguard would just charge/nova and it would proc a biotic charge every single time, anything in the radius of the Vanguard was just getting destroyed.
We also both had the Gold assist medal just from helping each other blow everything up, we solo'd wave 10 when it was an objective wave like that since our two infiltrators died shortly at the start to geth hunters/

It only works properly if you're the host.
After playing ME2, I miss all the fuss with Shepard's death.
