I've used both, the rocket deals good damage but I'd say place the sentry at a flank with flamethrower and it's a bit better. It's more or less about how you play with it, if you want it to stay at long range and deal damage you should go for rockets, if you want to throw it into close-quarters and have it distrupt enemies go flamethrower.

I was playing on bronze yesterday, levelling my sentinel again, wave 10 comes and the LAST enemy on the map is invincible. A single Cerberus trooper killed us after about 10 minutes because we all just gave up.

Something similar happened to me once. We were playing silver and suddenly... we all became invincible. Meleeing Atlas mechs and so on..
Argh, Last few times I've used the 'ops survival packs' I've used it right before getting killed, yet I still died from one shot from a geth trooper, even though it registered me using it! So frustrating! It's also annoying running around the corner into two geth primes and not being able to move from their attack staggering you. It's basically instant kill on gold.
Has anyone ever needed the ammo packs? I've used the survival packs a few times but never the ammo, ammo is every where so I never feel the need.

I rock the Paladin on my Asari Vanguard and I use them fairly often since I get 20 shots in between visits to the ammo cans.

I've rarely used the damn things; ammo is so commonplace I hardly need to replenish my sinks, and even if I don't go to the sink piles sometimes our reserve ammo is magically restored. If they didn't do that, then I would probably use the Ammo Packs more often. But for now I have more Ammo Packs than I know what to do with, and wish I could sell them for credits, or convert them into omni-gel.
God, remember when we actually HAD omni-gel? Back in the original Mass Effect, it was used for decryption and electronics, as well as occasionally repairing the Mako. Nowadays it's as if omni-gel never even existed, though it probably wasn't needed when they made it so that you weren't able to force locks using omni-gel, and there was no Mako to repair.
If Mass Effect had a durability system, like weapons, armour, upgrades and tools would require maintenance every now and then, omni-gel would likely be used as essentially "liquid Repair Hammers", which i'm ok with. Give us usable items and spare parts to melt down, and we could turn those spare sinks into something useful. Speaking of tools, would bringing back the different Bio-Amps and Omni-Tools from the first game be a viable change?

New crate, Premium version of the Spectre crate. I wish they weren't timed, I was really disappointed they took the Premium Veteran crates off.
