I actually like these weapons quite a lot. A Crusader on an Infiltrator is pretty good.

Valiant is fucking strong. The fire rate as well as reload rate is ludicrous and the damage on it is still very good. You can buttfuck lods of shit with it in notime.

If you put the extended barrel and the piercing mod on the Valiant, it becomes better than the Black Widow, especially if you have the better versions of the upgrades. It reloads faster and fires faster. The only thing the Black Widow has over it is more damage and better passive bonuses against armor, but that can be remedied with ammo and upgrades.
Basically, the Valiant is the best sniper in the game.

By the way it IS possible to get N7 weapons out of commendation packs. I got the Talon from a spectre crate last week.
Yum. Got an Eagle in my pack. As well as a geth plasma rifle thinger. Both level I's though... I still have hardly any weapons past level 1.

Those are the base N7 weapons. There's a set of N7 Weapons in the regular Multiplayer that are ultra-rares, and then there are the ones you get from the specific N7 crates that we get from events.
