Even if the indoctrination theory is right it's an even worse ending cos you know, you're still not through the beam and it hasn't ended yet.
So does anyone remember when Pressly said we shouldn't let Tali snoop around the engines because she'll steal our tech?
And did anyone else notice that the ship the Quarian admirals arrive on has stealth technology which was supposed to be exclusive to the Normandy?
RIP Pressly. You were right all along.

It might be a worse ending, but it's better overall because at least it leaves hope intact.
But either way, Bioware has basically all but said they won't do anything. This series hangs by a thread.
so when is the next stream coming up? i missed jackalds
So, been playing with the ENB injector for Mass Effect 3; I can't believe how dull the game looks without it. I know it was likely intentional to convey the mood, but damn.

I'm going to have to keep tweaking it to try and improve saturation and contrast balance, but man, what a change.
so when is the next stream coming up? i missed jackalds
I'm doing one soon on the 9th. Fresh Shep on insanity, custom soundtrack and split dialogue choices plus more.
I guess I'll do up another poster.

To be fair, Garrus was badass before Shepard came along.

I don't know about that. He was pretty much just a generic C-Sec officer.
I don't know about that. He was pretty much just a generic C-Sec officer.
I believe it's safe to say that all the characters had qualities that were meant for greatness. As I remember, they all had the ability, but Shepard (we) had to show them that they had that ability. Sad, but at the same time, I actually feel honored to have played through the game with such great characters. Bioware really is the best at storytelling.
I have come to the conclusion that I personally don't mind if the endings stay similar to what they are, as long as Mass Effect as an IP still continues. The universe is too dear to me.
Have you talked to him? Wasn't he like almost a spectre?
Have you talked to him? Wasn't he like almost a spectre?
Yeah, but wasn't the reason he was denied was because of his hatred for Saren? I don't remember specifically.
i thought his daddy just didnt want him to go or something
His dad pulled him out iirc

He was a candidate among 2000 other C-sec officers, so not really.
I don't know about that. He was pretty much just a generic C-Sec officer.
He was eligible to become a Specter, and in the mission where you recruit him he headshots a criminal that has a hostage, which was a pretty badass move.
Garrus was not a generic C-Sec Officer.
He was a candidate among 2000 other C-sec officers, so not really.
He wasn't a 'candidate', he literally would have been a Specter if his Dad didn't pull him out of it.
Yeah really. What the fuck is he talking about? I found my self trying to put on the brakes and look around in between missions for stuff to do, but there just wasn't anything other THAN that 'critical path'.
Exact reason why I have no motivation to play through it multiple times. At least there was stuff to do that were beyond the main quest, but you kinda had to do everything to get a reasonable time of play. I've done pretty much everything except a few fetch quests. In ME1 you could find planets to land on, ME2 had N7 missions that you had to look for, ME3 has scanning planets, then booking it back to the citadel and giving it back to them. That's it.

Takes health from the enemy and gives it to you.

what settings do you have?
Takes health from the enemy and gives it to you.

In multiplayer it gives damage protection instead.
what settings do you have?
Playing around with the [COLORCORRECTION] settings in enbseries.ini. I started off with the Cinema-Colour mod and adjusted it a bit to reduce the excessive contrast and saturation. As you can see in that image, it's certainly bright but the details got blown out and it's a touch too colorful. Currently working on balancing that and I'm seeing some great results.
He wasn't a 'candidate', he literally would have been a Specter if his Dad didn't pull him out of it.
No, he was eligible for a training program to find out out of 1000 or so other Turians whether they all had the potential to be a Spectre.
His dad didn't like it and made him drop out of it before it was completed/he even started.
I just had this conversation in ME1.
He wasn't a 'candidate', he literally would have been a Specter if his Dad didn't pull him out of it.
No, he was a candidate. He says so in ME1. He said he quit because his dad wanted him to, but he didn't have much of a shot at it anyway since he quit during the preliminary phases of recruitment. He never got beyond the thousands-of-candidates stage.
Well he still seems important in the military. That general guy saluted him. He said he was just there as an advisor or something, but when you ask him how far along the line he is from being Primarch, he doesn't answer you.

And that is after he met Shepard. We were talking about before Shepard.

That's because he knows the most about reapers out of all the turians due to first-hand experience with Shepard.
How the fuck old is Garrus, anyway?
We know Liara is like 109, Wrex is at least a few centuries up there, Tali's in her twenties, Mordin's in his forties, all of the human characters are pretty easy to guess at.
But not one clue at how fucking old Garrus is. How long do Turians live for, anyway? Am I BFF's with a ten-year-old or a 700-year-old?

Turian lifespan is never explained in the codex. Always bugged the shit out of me. Even the wiki page has nothing on it.
[editline]5th April 2012[/editline]
And Wrex is at least a millenium old, I'm almost certain.
Why did no one tell me how easy it was to do Gold with Salarian Engi? 74K creds for mashing decoy for 30 mins.
