I feel the game is not a masterpiece, none of them are actually.
Here are my main grips against all games.
ME1: Worse shooter of the series, exploration and sidequests were boring, micromanaging the inventory was a mess (Convert to Omni-gel anyone?) Charm/Intimidate being skills (minor thing).
ME2: Worse main plot (doesn't go anywhere, when the Collectors attacked the Normandy I thought 'Those fuckers are agents for the Reapers and probably readapted Protheans'), THE GODDAMN HAMMERHEAD, Charm/Intimidate tied with the P/R scores (major thing), shooting became predicable and boring after a crapload of the missions
ME3: Sidequests are either N7 missions (aka Multiplayer stages) or 'scan and deliver' fetch-quests, too much autodialogue from Shepard, the ending.
However the third game had a lot of potential, and if they kept the writing team onboard to create the ending it would be one of the best games ever.

I think some people abused an exploit that allowed them to get multiple packs so they won't be giving them out until they can fix it.

Because "clarification" is 99% doomed to failure. Yeah, we'll probably get answers like "Did I just destroy the entire galaxy?" but the hope that the GIGANTIC plot holes will be fixed and that our choices will matter to a significant degree is pretty much gone.
Personally, I think this "artistic vision" excuse is a bit childish. It's a lot like I was when I was 14 and just learning 3dsmax and I thought everything I was producing was solid gold. Turns out, I sucked something awful and, instead of accepting that "okay, I should redo this and do better," I lashed out at people for not considering me to be awesome.
