they should ignore anyone wearing any sort of band shirt/game shirt and especially if they have a neckbeard
Those 3 thing problem apply to everyone there. [editline]6th April 2012[/editline]
Perhaps the best live reporting site if you dislike Twitter : http://kotaku.com/5899880/liveblogging-the-pax-mass-effect-panel
thanks, seem to post faster than the twitter guy.
Didn't they say they weren't going to talk about the ending/ending DLC there anyway?
The MP of this game is unexpectedly good though. When they first announced it, never had any idea how it would be one of/if not best feature of ME3. Wonder if they'll make any more DLC for the MP after this? Or any new modes? If they were to make another mode, what would you want?
Didn't they say they weren't going to talk about the ending/ending DLC there anyway?
Yes, but I'm still interested in other mass effect related stuff. Hope no one makes an ass of the mass effect community. [editline]6th April 2012[/editline] also: It's started.
Yes, but I'm still interested in other mass effect related stuff. Hope no one makes an ass of the mass effect community.
I'll be more surprised if the panel doesn't devolve into a rage induced clusterfuck within 30 minutes.
Well this could be awkward as fuck.
i thought javik said that protheans lost since they all had the same doctrine but this cycle has a better chance as there is difference and stuff
That too obviously, but as the Reapers managed to attack the Citadel first the empire was crippled from the start. If that hadn't happened they might have had a chance.
I hear they're actually having three different panels. The content will be mostly the same, and all of them will leave you with a faint sense of disappointment.
Kotaku live blog is good and detailed.

Gonna save creds to buy the new characters on Tuesday.
So there's 2 Asari Adepts now? That's kind of stupid..
"We definitely look, we definitely put together a list." The community team feed the dev team the questions. "We want to give you some more closure" around the questions you have, fill in some of the unknowns. "Want to give players a sense of personalization with the endings" "summer" release - "going to put in the time and the effort that it takes, not going to rush it." "More than just a few cinematic scenes - definitely a considerable amount. So we're happy to be doing it."

So there's 2 Asari Adepts now? That's kind of stupid..
The new one looks to be more defensive focused. Seems fine to me.
So there's 2 Asari Adepts now? That's kind of stupid..
The justicar is supposed to have new, unique abilities.
So there's 2 Asari Adepts now? That's kind of stupid..
Probably very different skill sets, judging by the trailer the justicar seems more defensive with the biotic bubbles and all, so no.
I'd rather they put in Volus, Hanar, or Elcor. I really want to play as an Elcor.
I'd rather they put in Volus, Hanar, or Elcor. I really want to play as an Elcor.
Hah. Good one. They'd actually have to make animations for them.
Do we have any comments about the indoctrination theory?
"The indoctrination theory illustrates again how, um, committed the fanbase is..." don't want to comment either way. Don't want to be prescriprive -- fans interpret their own way, plus DLC coming. "We want the content to speak for itself, and we'll let it do so"

Indoctrination theory will not be commented on. Seems like we hit a nerve there. by press_pause_radio @ 5:18 pm
Heh.
Do we have any comments about the indoctrination theory?
Man, they just completely balked at the IT question. Also, I loved the response to the questions about Tali's face. Don't tell us you used a stock photo, then show off characters that were actually modeled on real faces, and act like it's the "same treatment"
Woah, Normandy is made out of 15 000 different pieces put together.
Woah, Normandy is made out of 15 000 different pieces put together.
Exciting!!! Please Bioware, give us more stats. That's what we want to hear!
When talking about plot choices:
Number of variables - increased. "Insanely." 3500 different plot values, in ME1. (Some minor.) ME2 - 6400. ME3 15,000 (fifteen thousand) different plot states.
I'm impressed they managed to compress all that into 3 of the same ending.
Their comments about Tali's face is going to goddamn infuriate the Talimancers to impossible levels.
Realized had never been revealed what female Krogan looked like. Decided "hey! this is the perfect time for Eve to make her entrance"
Ah yes, then cover 90% of her.
I really don't care about Tali or her face. It's all bout Garrus bro and Liara. And Wrex.
I wish they would just change the ending overall, go along with the indoctrination theory, there's so much supporting that...so much, but I suppose they don't want to do that, I suppose that never was their plan, huh? Oh well, that sucks shit and makes no sense to me, but its okay, hopefully their modified ending will be good.
