Imagine how awesome would it be if ME3 ending was in the style of ME2. Where you'd actually participate in the battle of Earth. Guiding all your forces, fighting them in the orbit, etc. Just like the ME2 finale.

Hell I'd even be pleased with a slo-mo scene where you control the Normandy as best you can in a linear path towads Harbinger, dodging his beam and firing at just the right moment.

so I beat Mass Effect 1 again I forgot how hard Super-Ultra-Mecha-Skelator-SarVen-MkII was.
The PC combat for ME1 wasn't all that terrible IMO. The original Xbox combat was awful though.
I'd move to Thessia. It's like the Scandinavia of the universe apparently, stable economy and no war and all of that. Also all the Asari.
And then later dragons screw it all up and Commander DovahShep has to master the way of the Biotic Lutefisk to prevent Alduvereign from destroying the land.
EDIT: Nvm, sorted
so I beat Mass Effect 1 again I forgot how hard Super-Ultra-Mecha-Skelator-SarVen-MkII was.
Just bring Liara with you, or if you're an adept just lift him. Easyyyyyy
And then later dragons screw it all up and Commander DovahShep has to master the way of the Biotic Lutefisk to prevent Alduvereign from destroying the land.
I'd buy it. "I should GO!" *enemies are blown away*
yeah I used lift a bunch but he jumps around so much fuck
Just bring Liara with you, or if you're an adept just lift him. Easyyyyyy
First time through ME1, was a soldier and it took me a few dozen tries to beat him on normal. Played through as a sentinel on hardcore, beat him in one try. Lift is so useful.
yeah I used lift a bunch but he jumps around so much fuck
As soon as he jumps away from your crosshairs, pause, drag aim to where he jumped, hold down trigger, resume. Repeat. Best tactic to defeat hoppers and mechasaren.
I'd want a Geth buddy like Legion, though preferably a Hopper platform with female programming.
mm, hoppers
Welcome to the world of VIDEO GAME REVIEWS Where everything with a lower score then 8/10 sucks and most of the things above 8/10 also suck.
Forbes Games is about the only trustworthy publication now, and that's because Forbes isn't dependent on videogame reviews
I like how I found out through the mass effect wikia, that there is a planet called Paravin. I had no friggin idea.
I rediscovered it a while ago while playing ME1, was gonna link it to you but I'm not at home
Like I said before, a single Dreadnought is a huge undertaking. It's fucking gigantic and requires presumably hundreds of thousands of crew members. The Turians probably kept the maximum number of Dreadnoughts their resources would support.
If a ship required hundreds of thousands of crew members it would be absolutely ridiculous. Two thousand crew, at best.
TIM mentions on the dirlect reaper level in ME2 that he found the weapon that knocked the reaper out. What happened to that?
He says they DIDN'T recover the weapon.
No, he said they DID recover the weapon. It's just not usable anymore.
No, he said they DID recover the weapon. It's just not usable anymore.
Then my memory fails me yet again.
The largest problem with the extended cut of the ending is getting immersed in the game again. I didn't mind the original ending that much, and now I dont know if I should do a NG+ or something different. Probably a NG+.
Forbes Games is about the only trustworthy publication now, and that's because Forbes isn't dependent on videogame reviews
Forbes' focus has been on the business implications of video games and their consumer constituents, which is why their articles have been do goddamn good. They don't really give a shit what the game is or whether or not it's good, or fun, or artistic or whatever. They've been reporting on the industry itself, in specific instances in the case of Mass Effect. Game reviewers should take note. With the rise of instant internet communication (especially communities within content distribution platforms such as Steam,) word-of-mouth severely outweighs publicized reviews. We don't need some asshole with a magazine to tell us what they think anymore. What we need is someone who is technically literate in the field and who can articulate the technical strengths and flaws of the game (i.e. bugs, wonky controls, compatibility, etc.) This is not the kind of coverage we are getting from games media. We are getting "Gears of War is fuckin dope as hell!" and "Call of Duty is like getting a blowjob and having sex at the same time!" and mostly a bunch of immature, childish shit that does nothing in the way of giving expert, knowledgeable evaluations on the product.

I meet strange people in lobbies. Especially 5 mins ago. Everyone was ready, expect host player. Waited for about 1 minute, so everyone started vote kick, so did i. I waited for host migration and noticed that the rest two guys quited. So, why do you kick if you dont stay afterwards? >_<
I just saw a horrible long ass nightmare about how bad the ending was, 3 weeks after beating the game. You know how it feels to wake up from a nightmare like that? Even worse.

The editor thought they were great. Should I maybe review games? I'm very reflective and such, but there are already so many amature reviewers out there.

I'm very reflective and such, but there are already so many amature reviewers out there.
If you're going to review games, you need to be able to analyze them on a technical level, rather than speaking from the point of whether or not you think they're fun. If they're a story-game, for instance, you need to be able to articulate their literary strengths and flaws. And for all of them you need to be able to formalize and articulate their gameplay tropes in the same way that you would articulate qualities from a film. i.e. instead of saying "this film made me feel sick watching it," say "the shakey-cam sequences and generally schizophrenic cinematography are disorienting and could do far better with more basic masters and the occasional shot/reverse-shot." i.e. "The Plinkett." So if you're talking about a shooter, you need to address the technical aspects of hit-detection, control, movement speed, the "stickiness" or fluidity of how the player moves through the environment, the feedback from the weapons and equipment, etc. You don't really need to worry about whether or not your audience can understand the jargon, as most people who would actively look to read smaller, independent reviews are the kinds of people who will understand exactly what you're talking about when you comment on the specifics. Basically, anyone and their mother can give you an opinion on whether or not a game is "fun." A reviewers job should be to analyze the product in-depth, which few game reviewers ever do.
'scuse me Miranda what are you doing

Except I simplified the movie's aspects to a level where everyone could understand it as to not leave people out. For instance, instead of complimenting beautiful cinematography and various lighting techniques I'd say the production quality was spectacular and the camera work was good to reach a level most folks could understand. I [like to believe] I was critical and reflected, technical but not caught up in details. I figure they're pointless if I can articulate it in another way that more people will understand and appreciate. I'd still bring up all my criticisms, they wouldn't disappear under a blob of apathetic jargin like the big sites currently do. I did do it as a profession for some time. That's not really what I was asking for to be honest. My question was whether or not I should start up (yet another) review site in the heaps and heaps of ones that already exist? EDIT: God I feel arrogant now, sorry.

I'd like to see a pink ending.
