Drellguards are very fun on bronze, however completely fucking useless agains't armored or shielded targets.
I said this before but Origin Support is so bipolar. I cantact them and they're like "I'm sorry but you are fucked. I can't do shit. It's impossible to solve your problem", I contact them again and "Done. Is there anything else I can help you?".
I think I'm about to spend my Saturday fixing this problem.

Try calling EA phone support if you're in the US. I believe you get to talk with the people working directly for EA as support and they can get you a higher Tier personnel that can assist you.
