The biggest decision that seems to carry over is: [sp]If you let Kaidan die in ME1, you don't have a sentinel on the squad in ME3. I mean, the rachni still show up even if you kill them. Wreav replaces Wrex in an almost identical situation.[/sp]
Finally I got around to activating my Dad's limited edition BF3 online pass on my Origin account, so early ME3 beta access for me! Yayy!
I have a confession to make. I have never owned the DLC for Mass Effect 2, not Overlord nor Arrival, not even LoTSB.
But, I am going to make amends. Tonight, the Mattock will sing it's glorious song as I kick SB in his Yahg balls. I am going to presume he has balls.

Don't buy the Mattock lol, it's going to be a DLC in Mass Effect 3 again and you will have to buy it anew.
Yes it is worth it, but if you buy it now you only prove you got no patience.

If you're going to get any DLC, LotSB is a great choice - I loved it.
I never got Kasumi or Overlord.. feel compelled to get them when I have the money, but I also feel like it's a waste. :v:

I'll re-post this from the last thread.
For garrus and liara it's understandable, it's not really a good idea to have a bromance when 4 merc groups are trying to take you down. Liara already knew that shepard would be alive so it wasn't that much of a surprise, besides that shadow broker incident made her dark.
Tali and Kaidan have brooms up their asses though.
Still, wrex is a real bro.
Not really.
Wrex is your buddy, Wreav is douvhebag.
Wrex wants reform of Krogans, Wreav is traditionalist.
Wrex went for medical advancement of Krogans, Wreav for weapon advancement of Krogans.
That's what you get in ME2, so not ME3 spoiler.
Dunno what's gonna be real difference.
Hell, I think Wreav wasn't even in leaked script.
And from that posted video, we already see some differences.
Like for example, Garrus doesn't care for Wreav.
yeah, I know all that pal. I just don't see it actually effecting the outcome of the mission or the story in a greater sense. As long as you've got the paragon/renegade points you'll no doubt be able to sort the Krogan/Salarian thing out.

I know a one mission cameo wherein there's slightly different dialogue isn't how I wanted to see all my favorites back.

Who is going to add the maximum amount of paragon and renegade points in ME3 right at the beginning?
I know a lot of people here did this with ME2, because conflicts which require to have 100% morality of either kind are retarded.
Remember the Miranda vs Jack scene? Rate clock for abolishing the morality system, rate disagree if you won't.
Yeah, I might get it. Save editor is to complex, I'll just do a 30 hr playthrough instead :v:
Also no one had any idea how to fix the stupid mouse configuration in ME2 ?
Complex? Dude its just check-marking some flags and starting a new game.

ME2 isn't ME3, so if he wants to enjoy it in ME2, that's kind of an invalid statement, and I'm pretty sure its not a DLC weapon, its been shown in several trailers and pictures.
Bioware said that if you have the weapons in ME2, you'll have them for ME3. Doesn't say what'll happen if you didn't get the weapon DLCs
Don't buy the Mattock lol, it's going to be a DLC in Mass Effect 3 again and you will have to buy it anew.
It looks like the Mattock is going to be the default bread and butter assault rifle looking at all the footage so far. Why do you think it's going to be DLC?

Shh, I'm trying to justify the purchase to myself

Like I said in the last thread; perhaps a new Mass Effect in a similar vein to Dragon Age with custom Captains, unique ships, new squaddies, and a story that runs parallel to the trilogy and incorporates things from all three games a'la Mortal Kombat 2011.

I could understand spin-offs, but I don't understand why they would continue with save importing. They can't even properly deal with characters that could die in ME2, how do you expect them to deal with [sp] the potential extinction of races/ destruction of planets[/sp] in a spin-off set after ME3?

Yeah, pretty much their only option for save imports making sense would be something in parallel with the main story.

oh that's bad. If I recall correctly they said there couldn't be huge choices and differing outcomes in ME2 because they still had ME3 to deal with, but because it was the final game in the trilogy they could go all out in ME3. Now they're asking us to keep the save, it makes me think they might limit things so that the save will be more likely to work for future games

Or DLC

Find out how your decisions shaped the Galaxy! For only 800 MS points you can buy the exclusive Epilogue Pack, an extra 400 MS points give you the Admiral Hackett voice-over, as opposed to a text-based reading.
Good news:

Bad news:
ME Deception is canon.
Thank god the Books are not required for the game, I can safely ignore em.

Except when there's stuff like Anderson resigning so that Udina is the human councilor no matter what. On that note, even your cereal won't be safe in ME3...

Great stuff. I was willing to meet them half-way on all of this besides that.
Still first three books are interesting, I enjoyed reading them despite the horrible russian translation.
They could make an excellent scenarios for movies, if right people will produce it, and of course if BioWare will watch the progress.
So the demo comes out the 17th right?
I've started a new playthrough on Mass Effect 2 on Insanity. Feeling masochistic already, and I'm only at Freedom's Progress.

I'm just going to say Tali's recruitment mission on Insanity.
Huh. I tried LotSB on Insanity once, and I couldn't get past the battle after car chase scene. I just kept dying. Switched to Veteran and HOORAY - it's done.

I know something that can fix Deception.

Fixing the lore errors won't make up for the fact that Deception is poorly written with a shitty plot.

Done it on Hardcore before for the Geth assault rifle, is Insanity a lot harder than that?
