Well I just found out that our precious Conrad [sp]lives or dies in ME3[/sp] based on a minor, unrelated sidequest from the first game that I didn't even know existed

I can't believe that I'm wishing some of our actions or lack thereof didn't have an effect in the third game

Bioware confirmed on their twitter that the Star Kid was playing about a lot of things, but they didn't say which things specifically.
The synthetic thing must be a lie, because if it was true, Shepard, EDI, the Geth, the Quarians, and a shitload of other people would be dead. He said even partially synthetic beings would be destroyed.

I have yet to find Conrad on any playthrough... even though he was there on both saves I carried over from ME1 and 2. So I'm not sure what choice I made that killed him off or what.

Im planning on possibly getting the Mass Effect 2: Digital Deluxe edition on Steam next time it goes on sale, would it be worth it?
I just really want to own a Mass Effect on PC, not to mention if i buy the Deluxe edition il have owned every special edition of a ME game and I will actually have the Cerberus network.

Yes, there are some great mods for it like the HD textures from our very own JeanLuc (I believe) which really improve the game, presuming your PC can handle it.

But I am referring to the Digital Deluxe edition itself, Is it worth paying extra for instead of getting the normal edition on Steam during a sale?
I'm absolutely going to get ME2 on PC, I just want to know what edition to get.

Well it has a good few extra things with it, like the soundtrack, digital art book and in-game armour and rifle, and based on previous sales there's only around a £2.50-£5 gap between the two so yes I'd say its worth it.

My only experience of ME2 on PC is the ME2 Demo on Steam. I gave it a go and tried to Mod it and there were times i failed:

No cheats, and the only gameplay alteration I can remember making is enabling friendly fire (hard mode activated).
