But I just spent all night downloading the game. It took two hours and now "Installing..." has lasted another hour.
Origin support forums say to close firewalls, so I did, but they did nothing.
Someone else had this problem but with a Tomb Raider game, and the advice was to end the DXSetup process. That too did nothing.
It took me three attempts for Origin to properly install ME3.
Have fun.
Where did you get this DLC ending leak.
All joking aside, I've been wondering what the mood must be like in Bioware Edmonton for the last few weeks.

probably somewhere along the lines of "i'm gonna stick my head in the microwave."
I wonder if I could get a loop of that scene. Would make one hell of a dreamscape background.
Good sir, I will make you a looped video in 1080p.
If someone tells me how to hide my character and noclip.
Regarding ME2: I'm playing paragon yet still receiving renegade points when I believe I'm making the correct paragon choices. I recently referred to the morality guide on the mass effect wiki and I did indeed make the correct choices, then I scrolled further down to discover that you get paragon and renegade points for completing certain missions regardless of the choices you made.
Can someone explain what the fuck?
It's why you can earn generic Reputation points in ME3. The team wanted certain actions to make you famous one way or another without necessarily being attached to a moral choice. Like the Thresher Maw fight in Grunt's loyalty mission: killing it is considered a big deal and to reflect the boost to Shepard's fame, doing so gave +15 Paragon and Renegade points no matter what your alignment.
Unfortunately, this wasn't explained well (if at all) at the time and I think having points in the opposite reputation bar to yours either hindered Shepard in dialogue or just threw players off. So now when you do anything in ME3 similar to that Thresher Maw kill, you gain neutral Reputation and the unified bar increases while keeping your current Paragon-Renegade balance.
So I'm two hours in. A little late I guess for first impressions since it's been out about a month, but if anyone cares to discuss:
I really like the combat, nothing to complain about at all besides accidentally rolling into walls while trying to interact with stuff. What I don't like though is that there have been zero hacking opportunities so far that I've caught and there are barely any places where I can choose my dialogue. It's odd just watching Shepard be all angry and snarky when normally there's an option to be a little more civil or cooperative, or even an option to be angrier and more of a badass. I'm used to there being more people to talk to in an area or having one or two reputation dialogue trees mixed with 4 or more dialogue wheels per conversation. This time I'm just watching.
Is it going to be like this for most of the game? Or do conversations get more Mass Effect-y later?

If anyone has trouble getting into the game and has a error, I have this problem too. Gen Machine has a solution.
Just load up the game and it'll create a new file for saves, then copy and paste back the files into the folder, cheers.
It worked for him, hopefully it'll work for anyone else.
Edit: Oh lawd, it didn't. I'll do a repair install.
Something tells me he didn't play the first two games.
I played ME2, not the first one though. I was satisfied with the ending of the story. Cycle got wiped but now reapers are gone so next cycle can do w/e
Supposed to be a patch next week, properly why am I'm getting a error report thing.

I'm curious.
Who here still wants completely redone endings?
And Who is happy with the plans for the extended cut providing clarity, closure and making it personal?
So. Rainbow for new ending and Artistic for extended cut.
LOL the dvd tried to eat my ME3 disc. It kept closing as I tried to open it. :tinfoil:
First time playing the multiplayer, and I fucking hate it (the gameplay itself is alright, but it's the players). Everybody's a cunt and sees 'level 1' and kicks you immediately.
And then for the few rounds I HAVE played where my fellow players have been decent enough to let me join a match with them (despite a level gap) my fucking connection has dropped out, and I've gotten NOTHING for the match.
Fuck you people, and fuck you Australian internet connections!
I get that sometimes, but the best thing to make people like you and not kick you in games is revive them, and not leave a man or woman or turian or krogan etc behind.
I only play due to getting more endings, then the one. Maybe the default ending is where you get to blow up the thing and you get pwned, whether you die or not.

I'd be happy to host a few rounds sometime if you want to join, I'm in Australia and my friends play fairly often.
So I WAS gonna stream DING DONG Shepard in 4 hours' time, but I get the feeling it'll clash with jecht's stream.
How long are you gonna do it for?
I'll move my stream up a couple of hours and stream Alan Wake in that time if that helps suit you. By all means don't hold it off because of me.

A few decent people let me play with them despite being 13 levels below the next minimum level.
Got to level 6 in one round, then level 10 in a second!
I just started ME2 (playing through series again) and I find that I enjoy the combat less than ME1. All the weapons feel pretty shitty apart from a few select ones (Mattock which is OP, Locust which is OP, Widow, Geth plasma shotgun which is OP). Especially the Avenger is terrible.
So I wanted to draw something related to Javik Shepard, and I was watching Ed Edd 'n Eddy just before...

I really don't know where I'm going with this

After ME3 it feels really weird. Everything is clunky, and it feels heavy.
Uh, well 3 or 4 hours to be honest. As long as I can is the honest answer.
Plenty of time then, I'm going to start up Javik Shepard at 6pm EDT.
Sharing is caring.
Playing Vanguard on ME2. Got advanced weapon training. Should i get the Krogan shotgun or the assault rifle?
Y'know, concerning Legion, it kinda sucks that you couldn't hug it when it sacrificed itself to give sentience to the other geth. I mean, it looked all over the galaxy for you, joined you on your mission to defeat the Collectors, was generally a helpful bro, and now it's become a martyr for it's entire people.
There shoulda been a Paragon interrupt whereby Shepard hugged Legion and thanked him for everything.
Also, concerning my earlier "Assume Direct Control" ending, i've two more "special endings" to formulate; one being "Song of the Stars" and the other being "Space Battleship Citadel". I think i'll work with "Song of the Stars" first, since i've already laid down the groundwork somewhat for "Space Battleship Citadel".

A possible ending, maybe; certainly more beneficial for everyone earthbound, instead of Shepard becoming Space Ahab.
So, what is about that tactic with Geth (Gold) on Firebase White? Someone said that it is easy money?
Can i have some tips or even better, a video?
