Not if you win. Lawyers often take cases they think they can win for a cut of whatever the settlement/ruling gives you.
This means the Lawyer will be suing the company for many thousands of dollars though...And if you lose you owe the Lawyer a large fee.
And if you guys did sue Bioware or EA and that case was justified I would personally be willing to donate money towards legal fees. Not much, since I'm poor, but if these guys are fucking over customers I would like to see the injustice stopped.

Just lost 60000 credits due to some processing error. Not off to a great start.

It's possible because some people actually have a legit reason to transfer a game from one account to another. I used to have an different EA account than I use now for Origins but I had to transfer my games from the older account to the newer. If you just keep on asking them to transfer the games eventually someone will change it back. It's weird because back when Origins was new, they asked for my email and password to transfer. Now they must not give a fuck at all.

I actually feel sympathy for the EA Support guys. The brass high up is swimming in money while these poor guys had to deal with all the anger towards EA on a daily basis for a probably not too high of a payment.

Origin costs a body limb, but what did I expect if I wanted to play Mass Effect, I knew EA were so greedy they made EDI for the needy so their cash-flow wouldn't slow, but no...
For the many dollars I forked out I expected just a little clout, but that soon turned to doubt as their support falls too short, but I can't take them to court...
Fuck you EA.

Probably to keep the singleplayer masse that doesn't play Multiplayer from downloading a patch that will hog up their bandwidth for something they don't play.
I don't know for you, but I know a shitload of people that have limited bandwidth, my internet is fast as hell but the bandwidth limit is absolute garbage and Steam actually made me go over the limit more than once just from those stupid fucking auto updates and I have to pay like 6$ per GB I go over the cap, this is bogus.

I only paid £17 for ME3 off amazon which is a fucking amazing deal, all things considered

Check your characters, equipment and weapons. Same thing happened to me but I found out I got an Asari Adept and some equipment.

Wanted the Justicar, got the Geth Engineer. It's pretty good and the Geth SMG is alright at close range.
I mean, maybe the Geth SMG is alright if you need to burn about 5 minutes killing a single husk.
I now have 5 missile launcher capacity, I shall get it high enough so that I can strictly win gold with it.

What class and level are you, what mod do you use on the thing? Those all have effects, do you use power or weapon damage?

I equipped both the Geth SMG and the N7 Eagle. Eagle did about a thousand times more DPS.
