My Shepard looked almost exactly like that.
And yeah, just sort of standing awkwardly near two people talking and then abruptly interjecting a solution always felt really weird to me.
What also felt weird was how nonchalantly some of the people responded to my being there in the first place.
It's like the newsfeeds are talking about how I'm getting help for earth and that I brokered a treaty with the krogan and cured the genophage and all that and as soon as they find out their conversation was important enough for me to listen to, they're all like:
"Oh hey commander, nice weather on the presidium today, isn't it? Oh you want me to do this? Sure no problem! Make sure to say 'Hi' to everyone on the Normandy for me, ok?"
So, I got the Geth Engineer and the M99 Saber in the same pack. Woo! Although according to my friends I'm now a racist, since I now play Engineer because of the Geth. Apparently, it's racist to prefer the Geth aesthetic over the human/asari/turian etc. Not sure I agree.

I find it incredibly annoying, nonsensical, and stupid, how there is no locker or weapon bench options for you to customize your squad's weapons and mods. It just makes no sense. ME 1 and 2 had them, why cut it out of 3? Because having them in made sense?

They had that? I never used it in 1 or 2, because I never really knew it was there.
3 is better, you can customize your squad's weapons before each mission and whenever you pick up a new weapon.

Well in 1 I used it almost all the time. It was down in the cargo hold, across from the Mako by Ashley. It had a locker for each squad member that let you customize everything they had equipped. In ME2 you never really needed it, because all squad members automatically equipped the best weapons as soon as you found them, but it was in the room with Jacob.
I just like being able to think about these things when I'm "off duty" so to speak, not just about to jump into a mission. I like having everyone ready as soon as the mission starts, meaning I like them all equipped and ready beforehand.
