Yes, and no. Marauder Shields is still there, defending Shepard from the Husks, and I also believe in one of the comics, he shot the star child. Which is a WIN in my book.
I think sooner or later he will get back to MS, but until then, showing what the people Shepard gathered are doing is pretty welcomed.
