I stand correct.
To be fair, that's a terrible look for Garrus overall. :v:
I just realized how awesome a crossover game of all these characters would be. Like Super Smash Bros but shooting/stabbing
A cooperative/competitive crossover third-person action game? I'd certainly buy that, though not if published by EA since I want them to go under one day, and my money would be adding coal to the furnace of this agonising pain train, or more appropriately adding Humanity to the Bonfires, prolonging the "Age of Fire". (just realised a possible allegorical connection between Dark Souls' Age of Fire and the current state of fossil-fuel dependancy)
Cross-overs would ruin serious games, especially ones with deep stories. I don't want my Shep, Isaac Clark or Master Chief in some game with other IP characters (especially FF) just so that the publisher can milk the franchise that little more.
To make this page less terrifying, here's something from lonefirewarrior:
[fussy!]OMG Samus' right thigh clips 0/10 ruined forever go back to art school[/fussy!]
Man you should do something, this guys is pissing all over your artistic integrity!
yeah im gonna do something about the stick figure comic strip that somebody stole my idea from my lower-quality stick figure comic strip cant let that shit slide, right
female shepard looks a bit weird, but still pretty damn cool
So not only does Game Informer explicitly say that Mass Effect 3 has a satisfying ending that leaves all questions answered, give the game 10, which it wouldn't have deserved if had the best ending in video game history, but one of the guys who reviewed it wrote an article defending day-one DLC.
Sounds like either gameinformer is crap, or someone slipped the writer a few credits. Or both.
To be fair new races were being found and coming to join the council, one of the newsfeeds has a bird like race about to join the citadel races but when the Reapers show off they decide to return home, burn their tech and hope the reapers consider them to primitive to be killed this cycle
Was that the one from the Cerberus News update a few months back?
Sounds like either gameinformer is crap, or someone slipped the writer a few credits. Or both.
It's less bribery and more the simple fact that the gaming media and the gaming industry as a whole are far too intertwined. Publications are dependent upon developers' marketing teams in order to get access to behind-the-scenes information, industry-only demonstrations, early review copies (magazines, especially, being wholly dependent upon that alone for timely reviews) and general advertising and support. Review media is meant to keep an industry's producers' balls in a vice grip, but the gaming industry has it the other way around. The producers are meant to be dependent upon the media for exposure and marketing, but the gaming media has become dependent upon the producers. And thus, the subconscious worry of "will this piss the producer off?" takes precedence over "is this a service to our readers?" It isn't going to be until the audience of said media starts losing interest (which is slowly happening with the resurgent power of word-of-mouth) that the traditional industry media sources will change their priorities.
yeah im gonna do something about the stick figure comic strip that somebody stole my idea from my lower-quality stick figure comic strip cant let that shit slide, right
Damn right man you don't want them to feel entitled.

I can't have been the only one to notice all of these gaming sites changed their fucking tune a couple weeks in, once it was becoming clear that they weren't exactly endearing themselves to a wide audience. Straight 180.
So apparently doing side missions in ME1 actually changes shit in ME2. Actually took the time to do Nassanna's mission and apparently she remembers me. Gave Tali the Geth data and she's actually happy to see me on Freedom's Progress, rather than agitated and snippy. Dunno if Dr. Saleon's mission is going to do anything. Any other shit I missed? I sorta feel like I'm a bad Spectre for ignoring all of those people. Does Ms. Pregnant-Heart-Disease-Gene-Therapy lady ever show up again? Because I totally gave completely unsolicited advice to her this time around, and I'm hoping it comes back to bite me in the ass.
Isn't she the woman who always bickers with the other guy about the child "Jake" and his disabilities? Wow holy crap that's an old post.

Wow holy crap that's an old post.
You mean the lady talking about sending their kid to school? because maybe education is awesome in the future, but i dunno if a 30-month-old is going to be attending classes. Actually, probably closer to a 21-24 month-old kid considering that lady was not visibly pregnant in ME1.
I miss Mass Effect now...
Serenity reference, YES
Too much time has gone since I've watched that movie. I should watch it again.
Probably, in Mass Effect 2 they're in that store arguing about augments and stuff that would help him because he's disabled or something.
I don't remember anything about him being disabled. . .?
Too much time has gone since I've watched that movie. I should watch it again.
Too long since i watched the series too. Need to re-watch [editline]16th April 2012[/editline] On that note, Have some always funny Firefly bloopers
I miss Mass Effect now...
Yeah, I still get sad when I think about how they bodged the best gaming trilogy in favour of speculation.
Nathan Fillion would've been good in Mass Effect. He's already shown he can do sci-fi video games as well as he can movies and series. He was good in Halo. [editline]16th April 2012[/editline] He had a thing with EDI's actor's character in ODST.
Could've have been along side Adam Baldwin when he was a Quarian.
I think number ratings on games are dumb anyways.
Indeed they are; words should matter FAR more than the "tl;dr" that are the troglodytic simplicity of using a sodding arbitrary number. Also, it's sad that certain gaming press put developer/producer appeasement ahead of appeasing the readers and giving them the reliable intel that the readers come to view. Sure give your views, but they've gotta be honest, truthful, uncorrupt and personal. Also also, when the devs/publishers throw their weight around like that, it isn't really bribery so much as it is blackmail, like saying "If you don't give our games good reviews, we'll stop giving you exclusive access to our intel". It's akin to a courtesan threatening to cut your balls off if you don't tip her, or that one scene in Rat Race with the mechanic and his disagreement with the girl in the car (the one who flew the helicopter and got revenge on her cheating boyfriend); abuse of power through blackmail seems so horrible.
No such thing as a "Wrong" firefly blooper reel My favorite still have to be the one with Mal using the dirtnapping baby jesus as a hoodorniment
Could've have been along side Adam Baldwin when he was a Quarian.
With so many popsci-fi stars in Mass Effect someone should make a sci-fi character Venn diagram about them.
I need to stop taking all this Blue sand.
How did you do that?

(I actually watched Jaynestown episode of Firefly after ME3 ending, cheered me up a bit)
