Battlefield: Subforum Deletion Edition (Or, Why It Needs Put Back) - Games

Agreed, we need the BF sub forum back.

I agree, there's so much more to talk about Battlefield than there is about Splinter Cell. I predict the Splinter Cell forum will die very soon. We should hold a vote on which one we keep.

Replacing the Battlefield section with the Splinter Cell section is possibly the dumbest decision I have ever seen on Facepunch. No offense Hezzy, but why didn't you replace the COD forum instead? The battlefield section was much more active than the cod section anyway.

Usually there's like 40+ ppl looking at the BF subforum compared to Splinter Cell's and COD's 10 to 20+ ppl.

If you want to make the argument that a new game came out and it needs to replace a sub-forum there are older, quieter sub forums to cannibalize. If you want to make the argument that the battlefield forum was in-active, I would like a graph of it's lifetime activity compared to the other subforums using a SIMILAR/EXACT time line. Otherwise... you are just pissing on forumites and telling us to be happy and open our mouths.

The next new game that might need a sub forum would probably be Sonic 4 and Sonic the Hedgehog series. Battlefield Bad Company have some future DLCs though.

Call of Duty subforum should be replaced and Battlefield subforum should come back.

I just saw that the subforum is gone :saddowns: I recon that we had good discussions in there. Further, the Battlefield series is a longoing series, not something with just two games like Just Cause, so it would make more sense to have a BF forum then a JC forum. +1 for putting it back.

Why the hell would Splinter Cell get in there? It's not like Hezzy liked the other ones until Conviction, the game-breaker, now is it? Splinter Cell was not really recognised back in the day, safe to say I've played every single one of them. However, Battlefield deserves the place more since there are a fuckton more players there, and what's to talk about in Splinter Cell? Oh how your prized co-op partner died a glorious way, or your first experience at jumping on an enemy?

At the end of the day I guess we just get sub-forums based on what games hezzy likes, not what we want.
