I tend to play this when I have nothing better to do, which happens more than you might think. I can see why people wouldn't want to plant 50 straight hours into it though.

Indeed, the game is really slow, and repetetive, the big factor for me though, is the lack of multiplayer, i think that could've changed the entire game, me and many of my friends usually go back to D2 sometimes, and just defeats the game, same with torchlight really, once we're bored and got nothing better to do, but it just sucks that it lacks the multiplayer part.

But then you can always challenge yourself, and go get some of the mods on the forum, the game itself is REALLY easy, unless you play hardcore, and thats only hard until level 10 or something like that really.

The game was great the first playthrough imo, i enjoyed it, but it really didn't give any reason on why to continue. You could get better items and higher levels but the game just continued, and you didn't feel any change in damage or health because the enemies just kept getting stronger, so it didn't really make much of a difference..
