Meh, if they at least released the GOTY in Europe (and the rest of the world too).

Do they realy make money with that, just adding something that should be therer at the beginning? The water isnt speacial, seen in many games in lower technology.
i don't even know where to begin with this. just, wow.
Start with 'realy' and go from there. Also, why do people consider this dynamic physics-based water? It's not in every sense. It's not simulation water, it's just adding simple deformation to a planar surface, even UE2 had that.
Gee, I sure hope they add real physic based water.

[editline]06:41PM[/editline] it's hard to explain, really. it's like physics, but NOT REALLY physics at all. it looks better than plain static water, in my opinion. In Resistance 2 it doesn't look like water when it's moving, though.
"For a nominal fee of $9.99 per pack, you can have extra shit you don't need along with content that was originally planned to be included in the full game.
I doubt this will cost.
"For a nominal fee of $9.99 per pack, you can have extra shit you don't need along with content that was originally planned to be included in the full game.
Even i it costs you don't need the pack to play levels that have to water in it, just to create levels. Also, the first level pack was free, so I don't think this one will cost.
level creators would love it. it was taken out because it had major problems, if i remember correctly.
It's just geometry/animated water, crysis already has this feature, along with other games like halo 2-3.
Looks really fucking awesome and useful
It's just geometry/animated water, crysis already has this feature, along with other games like halo 2-3.
halo 2 doesn't, at least not the XBox version. crysis does but it's very limited. same with grand theft auto IV
Bah, it's downloadable content.
Bah, it's downloadable content.
No, it's been on the disc the whole time, just to be unlocked now. Why wouldn't it be DLC?
They might include it in the builders level pack (or whatever it's called) 2. The first one was free. If it is I'm hoping to see a teleporter trigger, a lethalize trigger and extra sound effects that are already in the game (like the stretching sound of a winch)
It's just geometry/animated water, crysis already has this feature, along with other games like halo 2-3.
Crysis' water uses tessellation. It's not animated.
Fuck, why does GOTY get all the DLC :(
The water is "meh", but it's something that everyone's been waiting for. It does the job. I don't care too much for all the fancy work that everyone seems to be whining about. As for the DLC and GOTY: If it's that big of a deal (i.e. the total amount of money needed for the packs you want end up over twenty dollars), you can get the new version. Otherwise, just get the packs you want and get back to making levels.
BAH! Everyone knows you can't post something PS3 related in the video games section it has to go into Sony or it will get flamed to death be 360 fanboys, good or bad. You also can't insult Gears of War 2. [editline]0[/editline] Where are those boxes I anticipated?
Not physic based but it does look like fun
Oh boy, water! That's never been done before, such an innovation is unheard of in modern science and technology.

All they're doing is adding in something that people have been requesting.
