They sold him as soon as they realized that they had almost worn him out. (or he was taken?) Anyway, This is gonna be great. The first was ok, the second jumped straight from "ok" to "epic". And one of the games selling points... How will they ever make this desert do justice to Uncharted 2's snow?
Make another Jak and Daxter so.
This year's VGA's is actually looking good.
Thank GOD. Now I'm pumped. Uncharted is one of the best game series I've ever played.
I expected this at E3 but VGA works too. It's gonna be suh-weet
I bought the 1st and 2nd games a while ago, almost done with the 1st. Good game, but damn annoying at times, like the driving parts. Lets hope the 2nd is better and from what I've heard, it is.
The snow in Uncharted 2 was amazing. If you think about it, what kind of technology will they use on that sand... HHHHHNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG.......
Make another Jak and Daxter so.
As much as I would love them if they did, Naughty Dog follow a strange regime. PS Mascot: Crash, PS2 Mascot: Jak & Daxter, PS3 Mascot: Drake. You see where this is going I assume. Each of the previous mascots had their rights offloaded to another company so they could be killed off without Naughty Dog taking the fall. But god damn I have high expectations for this. Uncharted is the series that looks at PC elitists, and laughs. Who said consoles can't be great machines that produce great graphics? I also expect the storyline to be hilarious and emotional. They haven't failed me yet.
Can't wait for this, i miss adventure. I wonder what drakes looking for.
Can't wait for this, i miss adventure. I wonder what drakes looking for.
That's all covered in the OP
I really enjoy how much effort and detail Naughty Dog go through to make their levels feel "real". The first time I looked around the bombed out town in Uncharted 2 I was blown away by how detailed it was and how good it looked. Additionally, I love the hell out of their choice of colours and lighting. None of this "This is a serious story, make it brown and look like someone stuck your television behind a dude riding a motorcycle through a swamp." I also like how they shied away from QTE's, while there were moments where your movement was restricted, you were still very much in control. Like when [sp]The Hind brings down the hotel you're in and you have to manually run towards what's rapidly becoming the top of the building dodging furniture and shit along the way.[/sp] The gameplay was solid as hell, too.
This is probably my favorite scene in the game.
I really gotta play Uncharted 2 again. It's been too long.
Why is his mouth so wide in that picture
And Yahtzee will still complain. Seriously, it's Uncharted 3. It was a day 1 purchase before it was announced.
Make another Jak and Daxter so.
just about worn out that Franchise too. You don't think there's an actual reason they sold those franchises? sales dropped right after so they just about hit the jackpot and let someone else take care of the endepting long wailing death that always follows any franchises glory days. Damn great thinking actually.
I like this
One of my friends were playing Uncharted 2, and he said that he didn't like it because there were too many puzzles, and said that it had a terrible plot and I was like 'what'
I think we can all expect Naughty Dog to present us with sunlight, sand, and heatwave effects the likes of which we have never seen berfore in a a video game, just like they did last time with ice and snow.
I'm actually genuinely excited for this game. I haven't been excited for a game in a LONG time. Awesome!
One of my friends were playing Uncharted 2, and he said that he didn't like it because there were too many puzzles, and said that it had a terrible plot and I was like 'what'
There are like what, two or three puzzles? Your friend must be denser than a black hole to think that they're too many.
There are like what, two or three puzzles? Speaking about Call of Duty, anyone else kind of disappointed that Uncharted 2 sold only 3.8 million compared to Modern Warfare 2's 20 million?
I'm a big Xbox player, but honestly, this series is on that I would love to play.
Might wanna add this to the OP "* Bigger set pieces and more explosive adventure, driven by Naughty Dog's signature storytelling and cinematic presentation. * Competitive and co-op multiplayer return with brand new experiences and massively expanded feature sets. The UNCHARTED universe provides online players with a unique Action Adventure multiplayer experience, bringing the cinematic elements of the single-player campaign into multiplayer. * Nathan Drake can now take on opponents in more ways than before: hand-to-hand combat with multiple opponents, contextual melee attacks, and new stealth options. UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception also features expanded and diverse traversal moves with deep gunplay. * Naughty Dog introduces new physics, visuals, and environmental effects. UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception features new innovations in sand, fire, smoke, and water dynamics and effects. UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception will be playable in Stereoscopic 3D."
The final stage will reveal monsters Now we don't have to play it
The final stage will reveal mummies Now we don't have to play it
Fixed.
Fixed.
Mummies are a type of monster
Must-buy. As long as I can preorder the game, I'll do it I don't mind the price.
Holy balls. [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] I want a FUCKING PS3
Holy balls. [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] I want a FUCKING PS3
Then get one!
I remember some of the first footage of U2 was images of the wrecked train. This time it seems to be a plane... i wonder what happens... and if Drake was involved in it again.
