They're using the same technique as they did with the snow in Among Thieves, meaning there will be sand physics.
Holy shit so I have no had the pleasure of playing Uncharted 1 which I wish I had started with but I am halfway through Among Thieves and I am blown away by this game.
I cannot wait for the this.
Also I should note that these games look, amazing.
And the storytelling is fantastic

That fire sure is pretty.
But I'd like to mention that the gameplay video showed what I like about Uncharted, it took something as simple as running through a room and a staircase and instead of just putting plenty of enemies to fight, they place scripted events, like doors closing, ceilings collapsing and foots getting stuck, which not only helps the atmosphere and the pace, but also help change the gameplay a bit and make things more memorable.
