That looks absolutely terrifying
More annoying than terrifying. Take forever to kill even with a cobble sword.
No, he didn't He wanted a small fee to give you the entire Minecraft source code for your modding purposes. It's entirely for quality control, to prevent mod lists from being absolutely FILLED with horrible mods made by 12 year olds. With a price attached, quality would rise significantly because there is some form of investment in doing it.
Is banging yourself in the head with an hammer so you become a retard a requirement for joining notch defence force?
this game is quite nice add better textures and minecraft lighting and it'll have all my babies. Maybe make an attempt to implement the best of minecraft's mods (that water shader one perhaps)... Game of the fucking year
I dont know about you guys but Other than the main building, I don't do much else feature-wise in minecraft. I don't mess with redstone, I barely have a base big enough to ever use minecarts, I don't really mess with trapdoors or much other crafting recipies. I can, I just dont. I only fish and use armor. Otherwise, all the fun in minecraft is in building for me. Because of that, I don't really have a reason to not switch to this game. (plus, the shiny to almost-infinite sky still has my attention)
I can now make airship colony that cannot actually see the ground below.

dat programmer art
This is cool, if only because it doesn't turn my computer into a leafblower.
That looks absolutely terrifying
They actually are. I tunneled down when it was nighttime and two of them appeared out of nowhere. I couldn't see shit because torches don't seem to light things up. This game is a lot scarier than minecraft (and that's a good thing).
Texture packs make this much more playable
Great game, but I have a few critiques. 1. Dying doesn't make you lose your stuff. 2. "Delete world" doesn't actually delete the world. 3. If you are playing on a local server and disconnect, it won't let you reconnect without pressing "delete world". This only happens if you do have a password set.
Not sure why, but I get smoother gameplay in minecraft.
Not sure why, but I get smoother gameplay in minecraft.
I'm not sure if loading the chunks lags more than Minecraft, but in general the framerate should be smoother
There is a mod for that
really? I'll look for it.
The Lua API for this is almost as ugly as the default textures Good thing I'm making a mod to help with that
Okay, I finished my CleanAPI mod, and will probably post it to the forum shortly. I've added a few things like easily loading more files, and renamed/combined a lot.
Hasn't been a news update in quite a while. Wonder what he's up to.
Hasn't been a news update in quite a while. Wonder what he's up to.
he released an update or two recently Mostly API updates though
This certainly already has more potential than the game itself , so surely there must be something going on behind the scenes
Sorry for the bump, but are any of you still interested in this game? There have been updates since the last post, and even "Nightly builds" now. April 22nd seems to be the latest update.
Gotta love that paradoxical water
