Does anyone know why whenever i take off in a plane that's not british the plane just tips over to the right? I'll start to take off and it will feel like there's a weight on my wing that just tips it over, and when i do manage to control it my plane stalls and blows up.

IM gonna try flying in this game, considering I flew real time from Heathrow to charles de gaul in a boing 747 on FSX. :D

Anyway, holy fucking shit that was some epic action - as those of you who play know, the fighting around Marche has been particularly brutal over the last 6 hours. Once we lost our foothold there I slogged it on foot all the way from the nearest forward base and took out some infantry and marked a tank or two. Following that, we ran a whole series of drops into various surrounding towns. First drop was alright, nothing to write home about. Nailed a sniper in the local belltower and got 2 other guys with grenades. Did some ground-pounding then went back to FJ. Next mission was a drop over the town just near Wellin that starts with a C, forget the name. Drop was HORRIBLY hairy. Right as we hit the DZ, a fighter swung in behind us and let loose, raking the entire rear compartment of the Ju52 with fire and killing pretty much all of us before anyone even got a chance to jump. We tried again, and the whole fucking plane was torn apart. We figured we'd best try a softer target instead, so we headed for Wellin. "Softer target"? :rolleye: We were, again, raped by fighters and intense AA, our own escort nailed some but just about bought it himself. First drop saw the first 6 or so guys buy it in their seats, then the guy on my right and the one across from me. The plane started to dive, too. I figured that would probably be an opportune moment to jump. Chute deployed without a hitch and for once the AA didn't blast me to pieces as I drifted down. Couldn't really tell what the hell was going on groundside, as I couldn't see any movement but I felt fairly confident that the Frogs would be waiting for us in the buildings. Managed to land right at the front door to the town CP, took it with another squadmate. Shot a Frog or two when they finally did show up but bought it myself as I tried to run across the street to another CP. Our pilot flew in at least another wave or two but both were even hairer than the others so we abandoned drops in favour of moving ground troops into the town from our capped points. Notice heavy AA and the sheer length of the DZ (all told, I think 18-20 of us made it out of the plane that time). So Ishwoo has persuaded me to play this game, and I was wondering if anyone had some tips for a newbie (yes I have read the wiki).

Insanely fun when large fights happen (example: In Marche today).

Flying is a big prob, the sensitivity is ridiculous, about 5mm of movment from my stick is the maximum the planes can take before flipping in the opposite direction. The sencitivity curve doesn't seem to help????? Why is it too that my tanks keep getting straifed or shot at with machine gun fire and they blow up? No bombs or rockets. The airbourne troops are the only real aspet of the game i'm enjoying to be honest(not that i've tried navy yet as nothing is ever happening)

The camera pans up away from you after you die so you'd see anyone that close, and most of the time there's no sign of an explosion, i just get info appear saying my crewmembers are being shot.

If you're trying to drive a panhard out of a spawn with an ATR of LMG camping it your going to get killed because those things have VERY weak armour. Also go to your settings and set the calibration for your Joystick to make it less sensitive. And what's your ingame name I want to check your stats to see who's been killing you. That assualt was fucking amazing. We had about 20 tanks and easily over 100 axis forces storming the city, we took it and cornered them to a small base outside the city. We then proceeded to move everything we had, including mortars, artilery, and AA guns as cannons and turrets into there and annihilate them. Everyone then posed and saluted and we got our picture taken. All of this was on live TV in germany because a show was doing something on the game. We then proceeded to move all our forces down the road, taking the next city. We took a fuel depot, vehicle depot, munitions factory, and three main cities in two hours.
