Battleground: Europe - WW2 Online (Now with 2 week free trial) - Games

Those pics posted above, there just another annoyance. You just don't see large formations of tanks or aircraft, people join a mission and imeadiatly go off and do what they want wether it's infantry, tank or air. Why is it i've been playing more than a week and i've still seen no evidence of this in action. I'm starting to assume it's only done to produce promotional material and screenshots for the game and isn't normally part of it, this was the part of the game i was mostly looking foward to.

Find someone who's better at organising things. I've seen it happen constantly, with 3-5 actions on such a huge scale it wasn't even funny.

Just log on and post that you are looking for a sqaud. You will be recruited easily and then you will start finding the fights you see in the pix. When you have learned a little you can always leave. Squads expect to lose some, but those like the BKB are newbie friendly and will help you find a fight. We are allied

I know, I joined a squad with my friends (rscots) and it's way more fun than not being in one.

Wierd, I was looking into downloading, but the site wont load... Is it like this for anyone else?

Today i did loads of paradrops again, but like 5 were with more than 30 people. very cool. I took screens of one sortie since it was kinda fun and the drop was almost perfect. First, we took off. Atleast. that's what we thought. Aparantly there was eneny infantry on our field. We ditched lol. [IMG]http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c98/sami1337/SShot9.jpg[/IMG] But the drop was good! This drop didn't really have an impact though. We took a depot, but they had a spawn right next to it and the town was mobilised to support the city near it. Roermond. That's painful.. No para, just spawnable. Loads and loads of mortars coming from across the river. Probally around 10 guys mortaring. We gradually gained full control of one side of the river, but then my brigade left or something, i dunno. But it was hopeless none the less. Axis will probably give up since allies, as always, come with tons of heavy tanks. This game is fun only hard to figure out at first really plane battles.

I just had a great paradrop. It. Was. Great! First, we had a phenomenal commander. Then, we landed, and we took out one of you Frenchman's Vehicle Spawns. Then, we sent out a soldier of ours to walk all the way to Ciney to take an Opel back to get us out of there. Once done, we came across another Vehicle spawn, and tried to take it out. While doing so, A frenchman came down and blew the shit out of everyone, I tried to run back to the truck, but he had already left. Hey, at least I got 5 points!

I can't login I did the free trial thing and created an account then downloaded. But I still can't login.

They need to remake this game. On the ArmA 2 engine.

Besides, a game doesn't need to be pretty to be good. Crysis is a good example of that. Played that game for about 2 days and got bored. I've been playing this game for over a year now.

I think you two are victims of the ISP battle between Cognet and Telia. It really sucks. Because these two ISPs are bickering some people aren't allowed to play. If you can play offline..but not online..check your firewalls. XP has on built in..virus checkers have one built in..zone alarm etc are firewalls.

Yeah, Germans are always overpopulated and we need more allies. I must admit though, the German infantry suck. It's only the tank i'm really bothered about, and keep paradropping, it's fun getting kills off you :)
